Magical Doremi Australian English Dub?

Thought you would've noticed, but you said "Australian TV guide" instead of that Kidscreen article.

The only "English dub" that exist is 4kids magical Doremi adaptation of series 1. Maybe there was an alternate pilot but that's it.

Oh, this is awesome, both the news and the iceberg. This makes me so happy! 

The Singaporean English dub has been confirmed to be an early dub of Ojamajo Doremi & Blue Water(the budget studio for The Ocean Group) did a pilot dub of the series. It's this "Aussie dub" that this thread is about that we have no idea what it is because so little actual info exists & most of it is speculation from many, including me of course.

You know what may be the big problem with trying to figure out what this dub truly is? It's the fact that the Kidscreen article's mention of it seems too... NORMAL. Like, it mentions Toei, it says it's about a girl who solves problems with magical powers & friends, & that's about it on the details. It isn't much to really go on & there are several other shows like that, but Ojamajo Doremi is ONE OF THOSE SHOWS, thus it ends up being relatively normal. Really, the only bit that can be seen as weird is it airing on ABC TV in Australia on March of 1999, but while it sounds very fake, that doesn't mean it's that weird. It just sounds a little odd, but not weird. Really, it is just your regular average brief coverage of something new airing on that network, nothing is truly out of the ordinary here.

Now, if it were a bit more descriptive or had some truly strange descriptions that would throw off anyone who's seen Ojamajo Doremi season 1, like say, the show taking place in Flevoland(a province in the Netherlands), Doremi being of the magical warrior type seen in shows like Sailor Moon or, to really throw someone off, say that Doremi is a BOY. Like, at least one of these fascinatingly oddball descriptions would at least give us a possible clue as to what it really is. But NOPE, it's just your generic brief description of a newly airing show... and yet the fact that it's a generic brief description is what's truly perplexing to me since it doesn't give us ANY IDEA on where to go from there! It's like a Sierra adventure game; you have to make your own map & just keep doing random crap until you find the answer, which is likely solved through some really obtuse way that requires TONS of experimenting on everything. Yeah... not that easy of a solution.


(and no, I'm not taking the ABC station of TV Tokyo as an answer now, that would be a bit too easy for it to be the case(and would probably still have some pieces be missing) considering the sheer vagueness, yet perplexing weirdness of the mention. If I have to go Sierra mode in order to solve this mystery, then I. FREAKIN'. WILL! I mean, for jeez louise sake, I already kinda have with me guessing possible names of the possible original name of this show!)

Doremi is ULTRA popular in Taiwan, curiously enough. I think they got all the seasons and the new movie. That said, I doubt they got any English dubs of the show, I think even Animax is Chinese dubs. It is possible that their HBO style movie channels (often original language woth subtitles) got some weird stuff though.
