Honestly Discord. You cannot get me to use Discord no matter how hard you try. I will not let myself be controlled by Discord freaks & be constantly sent a whole bunch of hateful private messages on there from a bunch of randos on there considering how much more popular that site is. The chances may be low, but I'm not taking no chances.
I get the concept of "servers" but the Discord format just feels so awkward and disjointed compared to other social media. I have had a lot of trouble adding people in the past and being added too. And the notification system is pretty wonky, I joke that it lets me know when things happen about 50% of the time.
I guess on the topic of social media, I never bothered with Vine, Music.cally, or TikTok. The best ones would be reuploaded to Youtube anyway, so I didn't care. Even Insta reels, I can handle for maybe 10 minutes max, before I get "burned out."
For the most part, I have trouble getting into the latest and greatest new social media sites/apps anyway. I have considered doing Twitter X again because it is still so much more active than other social media sites (and sadly, a fair number of my fave Youtubers ONLY use Twitter X), but it feels like such an embarrassing dumpster fire now, and I also didn't care about any of its shiny new competitors-Hive Social, Mastodon, Blue Sky, etc. All of those feel pretty gimmicky.
Vine memes and comedy are the most obnoxious and insufferable attempts at humor known to man.

I never cared for Vine either and was not one bit surprised or said when it went away. Also i'm firmly in agreement with Todd in the Shadows on TikTok not being very good, most of the good stuff on there gets posted to Youtube later on anyways.
I definitely liked my fair of trash things back in the day (and may even fondly remember said trash) but seeing younger Gen Z/Alpha kiddos getting nostalgic for Vine now is super weird and "dumb" to me on some level I can't describe?
</div> I can understand getting nostalgic for certain Youtube content but not Vine, blech. One of my co-workers at one of my previous jobs tried to entice me into watching Vine videos during break and I passed.
Modern "horror". Taking a character and making them fleshy isn't creepy or scary. I feel like that Spongebob meme where one Spongebob is screaming and the other is apathetic to the situation whenever my friends would bring it up.
I'm nothing but a mass of concrete yet my heart is calling my name
tbh the owl house. idk why I don't like it. seems right up my alley because i love story based cartoons but it never really clicked for me lmao
That's how I feel about Gumball, in generally I don't really like the whole "live-action-backgrounds-mixed-with-animation" style of shows like Archer.
That reminds me of another Cartoon Network cartoon, "Uncle Grandpa"
I briefly saw an episode and I couldn't even finish watching one episode. I hated the main character's voice and the whole thing about the live-action tiger character I found silly. Like weird for the sake of trying to look cool.
A furry with eclectic tastes who loves the 80s and 90s. Mostly 1984-1992.

Same here, I couldn't get into Adventure Time and Flapjack for the same reason. In general way too many 2010s animated shows did that whole "weird-for-the-sake-of-being-weird" trend and that played a big part in me watching more live-action stuff on Disney and Nick back then as a result.

I never liked creepypastas in general, always thought they were dumb.
