Watched the X Box Series X/Microsoft presentation on their upcoming games and not a single game piqued my interest save for that Doom game, which is coming to PS5 too. TBF, I don't know how many people were pumped for any of those products anyway. Might just be the general consensus that it was an "okay" lineup, but nothing too, too special.

I have no real excitement for that Doom game myself(the setting just looks boring to me and I already wasn't crazy about some of the changes Eternal made like the increased focus on platforming and those damn enemies that you can't kill unless you're the exact right distance from them) though the rest of the presentation was fine.
I was just reminded of a film I don't get the rave reviews for-the Dave Fincher movie Seven, to me it's just an average serial killer movie with a really dumb "surprise" plot twist that makes zero logical sense if you actually stop and think about it for more then a minute.
Also not really a big LEGO guy, I had some sets as a kid but once I hit high school I lost interest in actually building them(seeing how pricey they are now makes me confident I made the correct decision). I also briefly played one of the LEGO Star Wars games but wasn't really blown away by it so I felt no need to play any more of the games and I was kinda eh on the movies honestly. First movie just mostly felt like a glorified commercial even with all of the drama stuff, for me it was definitely not nearly as good as a lot of people said it was and the other films weren't much better.

Feels like a way more expensive table puzzle hobby, I guess it's fun to put together and show off but then it's like...still Lego??? I also don't find the vast majority of the sets visually appealing for whatever reason. Possibly because of trying to cram elaborate and wildly different/distinct designs into the Lego mold just looks...off to me.

It's very much a money sink hobby, especially nowadays. I'd collect more if the prices went down significantly for the cooler stuff.

Personally, if I ever got those, I would do the same thing I do when colorizing my armored cores in the Armored Core PS2 games... that being give them a bunch of random colors all over the place like it's that one freakin' childrens' book about a sick girl(can't remember the name, but I swear it's real). I would likely not care much for the actual lore, instead having them go on absurd & wacky adventures like it's Revenge of the Sunfish.

I don't care for these Gacha games that are all the rage now like Genshin Impact and what have you, they just feel incredibly icky and exploitative to me with their business models. Their legions of defenders can trot out the "but it's free!" excuse all they want for those games. But there is no denying that kind of shit is designed to psychologically manipulate people out of their money and I have to be very careful whenever I play certain games like Destiny 2 as i'll feel an urge to spend money to upgrade my battle pass faster. A few times i've given in but i'm getting better at resisting thankfully.

I finally saw the movie "Clueless" because I kept hearing how this was such a great iconic movie.
It was OK to me, but nothing for me to get really excited about. I'm a bit surprised how fresh it mostly looks today even though it was made about 30 years ago.

Yeah I saw the movie during the Pandemic when there wasn't much else going on and it was...cute? I mean, it was cute.
It's only been a few years and I've already forgotten the vast majority of the movie though. No real memorable dialogue, which is especially weird because people get really into quoting/referencing the movie. I do remember the line about Ren and Stimpy being "existential" for some weird reason though LOL. I can only remember surface level things of the scenes that I DID like.
I know there's a lot of love for the first Princess Diaries movie and I get why people like it, but I prefer the original books. Even if Mia can be a real piece of work, I still found the books super fun and addicting. More of a "hot take," but I actually like the Ella Enchanted movie, even if it barely had anything to do with the book. I like both the book and movie in different ways.
