I've found pretty much any game with anime stuff in it is going to have a subset of toxic incel far-right weirdo fanboys.
That's why I'm not sure if Akazukin ChaCha should make a comeback or not outside of the Bluray release of the anime.
Which is ironic because they do know that Genshin Impact is....Chinese, right? Unless alt-right people simp for China for some reason? Maybe they like the "strongman" leader in Xi, but the country definitely ain't "conservative" if they went specifically by conservative, Judeo-Christian values (with a few exceptions). AND if it's because they see Chinese (Asian) women as passive HOOO BOOYYYYY do I got some news for them...Chinese men LOVE to complain about their women as much as far right incels do here, and the national government is HEAVILY pushing natalism because of how heavily feminist many of its womenfolk are. My persona belief is that Western fanboys are thinking of a "pre-state government" female (IE pre 1945 or so) which is NOT the case anymore. And hasn't really been in decades.
Similar to far right anime fanboys...like, anime DOES have repressive, sexist, homophobic, ethnocentric (etc) elements, but then there are just as many progressive elements present in a lot of anime series. I think one Disney creator was even quoted as saying that she would just endlessly watch anime as a youth just to see females actually "be strong heroines" at a time when females in Western animation were often love interests, nags, passive observers, etc (though it's out of date now, there was a book called "Branding Girlhood" or something like that that offered a LOT of examples in Western media).

Well, there probably existed Western animation out there that had strong heroines without being pushy over it, but they were rarely a thing & some are likely even lost media to this day. And I'm talking Western European stuff, American & Canadian animation wouldn't have given such shows much of a chance of being made without being pushy about it or being merchandiseable.

I can't say that I hate the show, but I've never been into Tom and Jerry, as a kid or now. The fact that it's still so mega popular all around the world, like I get it, but then I also don't get it???

I can say the same for classic Disney shorts honestly. There are a few decent ones & the Silly Symphonies are a bit more cynical in taste than their copycats from the same time period, but personally Looney Tunes & Tex Avery shorts in its later years kinda nailed the cutesy, yet cynical comedy better. Very few of the Silly Symphonies shorts I can say are truly masterpieces, but for me, that series I usually consider it as mostly part of the stepping stones towards Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies than as the incredible amazing shorts that almost everyone else says. I guess that means I have a bit of care for them, but not really. I'm just not a fan of Disney, they've been far too tainted like I've said in this thread.
Also, Tom and Jerry is so popular that there exists several bootleg dubs in various Chinese languages, including several dialects of Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese, Yi, Wu, Tai Lue & Tibetan.

Yeah my own parent was a MEGA fan of "old Disney" but also preferred the Looney Tunes/Tex Avery shorts/cartoons by a HUGE margin. They found the older Disney shorts way too cutesy and uninteresting, but would watch LT shorts over and over again, and we later even got the big DVD collections to rewatch at our house over and over again. While certainly the animation can be nice and there are "moments," I'm inclined to agree. The LT shorts simply have a lot more character and personality.

This is related to another answer I posted here, but I seriously don't like U.S. cartoons from the 60s with their limited animation in the likes of "Rocky & Bullwinkle" or "Underdog." I'm not at all saying that I think they're bad, but I'm just not fond of the animation. Animation from the 40s and 50s look way better! Probably the only exception are the Pink Panther cartoons. I still like those.

I can see why. Animation THAT limited can be very distracting at times. At least with Rocky And Bullwinkle & some of Hanna-Barbera's cartoons, they made up for it in the comedy aspects with clever dialogue. Filmation on the other hand... hoo boy, they're a doozy.

I think that cartoons in the 60s look way better then the 50s. Just look at Clutch Cargo and compare it to The Flintstones.

I like Tom and Jerry, but only the 40s and 50s versions. Anything after that I don't really care for.

I think Clutch Cargo was aiming for being ultra cheap on purpose.

Yeah, Clutch Cargo looked so hilariously bad! Let's not forget about this trashterpiece.
