I was skimming the thread and I'm intrigued to see if more comes out of it. I'm reminded of Mary Kay & Johnny from the 1950s with how different and historical it sounds, which makes for a great surrogate kind of search since MK&J is likely 100% lost unless someone managed to record any snippet of it back then.
I've never heard of Mary Kay and Johnny, is there an article on it?
Yeah I think the only reason I avoid older obscure media like this is that the search becomes more difficult. But would be cool if it were found. Another search somebody on here told me about was a 3D movie that's never been released outside of theaters? I gotta through all of my reply posts for that one though.
There should still be an article request blurb for it. I know I haven't been able to find a ton on it myself, unless it's just something I'm missing in the open.
The thing is that I absolutely love niche, obscure content. The more out there the better, like hearing about a 60s sitcom called My Mother the Car and I immediately loved the concept. It's also why a huge amount of the titles on my page are often things that have next to no information on them. It makes the hunt for it all the more fun, especially if I just happen to know people who are much more knowledgeable on the topic than I am who could help; especially if it just turns out like confirmation for Kansas City Blender Massacre for example. But at the same time, it's just that general sadness of having no credible leads (if it isn't hidden behind a paywall or academic curtain) and if there's any crumbs of information, you have to try to go into detective mode to figure out any string of events - and that's even if the media was ever lost in the first place and not just extremely hard or next to impossible to find.
I think I remember the 3D movie thread, but I'll have to look it up again to see if its ringing any bells unless I'm thinking about that bee movie someone recalled. Now that I'm painfully curious about, unless OP is roping all of us into a twisting Mandala effect and it's working.
