Wow, seeing as we at least ended up with SOME footage of the Pokepark, hoping we manage to get more footage of this too someday. This looks extremely cool!
Lol bootlegs are pretty funny and fascinating. The thrid image you posted has Japanese written on the sticky notes. Whoever wrote them is basically expressing their confusion at the game's existence and stating that it's an action game.
I stumbled upon this Japanese blog post while searching for various lost media and I thought people here would find it interesting. Japan's Amazone Water Park had a collaboration with Cartoon Network in 2019. There are a ton of fascinating photos of this collaboration, here are a few that caught my eye.
After some digging it appears that there's a rotten tomatos page for the series. www.rottentomatoes.com/m/powermasters They synopsis fits pretty well with what other sources have said the show was about. There a few cast and crew listed. It was pretty obvious to me that the animation was done by a Japanese studio, rotten tomatos sites Yasuyoshi Mikamoto as the director. He directed a lot of anime such as Super Dimension Century Orguss along with Yasuyoshi Mikamoto.
Worthpoint also had quite a few "original negatives" from the cartoon. I'm not familiar with what these are specifically but I'm guessing they're like little comics that maybe came with the toys or were printed on the boxes. www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/16-pages-original-negatives-power-4623672330
I'm a fan of his film reviews and originally found his videos on blip.tv when that website was in it's hayday. I think the best way to get those videos released is just to ask Oliver about them. Maybe he was asked by the other guys in the commentary to take them down.
this might sound like an obvious suggestion if you've done this already but have you tried looking at commercial compilations for australia from 1999 to maybe 2002 at most? i think the run for the original series was between 1999 and 2000/2001 so it may help to look through some compilations from this time!!
i don't live in australia so i wouldn't know what channel / channels digimon would have been airing on / what affiliates might have also advertised it but if you happen to know these this might help too!! i'm thinking fox channels are a good place to start since they were the main distributor for digimon iirc. i'm a big digimon fan and i would love to help as much as i can!! <3
Hi! I'm the 'someone else' that the original poster mentioned (and also the YouTuber that the second commenter - lammyvox - linked). It was likely not on cable as I didn't have cable at the time, Digimon aired in a segment on Channel 10 which was called 'Cheez TV'.
I have a feeling that it was for some collaboration with tazo-like holographic cards that were found in chip packets called 'Digi Fx' and 'Digi Clix'.
Awesome, thanks for joining us! That's very helpful information. Here are the search results on the internet archive for "Cheeze Tv" there seem to be a few vhs recordings, hopefully one of these videos has the commercial. archive.org/search?query=Cheez+TV
While looking through the toonzone forums this caught my eye. animesuperhero.com/forums/threads/unused-knights-of-the-zodiac-intro.3749761/ I didn't know that there was another opening for Knights of the Zodiac. Unfortunately, the video or whatever that the user "crazy pineapple" linked back in 2003 is missing. Has anyone else heard of an alternate opening for Knights of the Zodiac?
The uploader Professor Doc has "Episode 1 act 1", "Episode 1 act 3", "Episode 3 act 2" & "Episode 1 act 3" on their channel but it's been a year since they posted anything. Perhaps reaching out to them could get this lost media found.
All that remains of this 2d MMORPG are a few short gameplay videos and screenshots. The game was released on June 28, 2008 but was officially shut down on April 1, 2009.
Although I never played this MMO this upload from the game's soundtrack has been my go to relaxation music. It's oddly nostalgic even though I never played this, I wish there was a "revival" fan project for Pi Story like some other defunct mmos.
Pieces of the game's soundtrack are scattered online, though not on the internet archive at all. I also can't find confirmation on who the composers were for the game's soundtrack.
This video from MMOhut uses music from Final Fantasy XII for some odd reason. (Rabanastre specifically) Though near the end of the video you can hear the a snippet of the game's actual soundtrack.:
I'd just like to add a couple of quick addendums to this list, especially since it was requested.
1) I've gotten to look at the Dinosaur King S01 Blu-ray from Discotek, and the eyecatches were included, meaning that they were made in the first place and they're in the ether as well.
2) As bluebaron pointed out in an earlier posts, there are in fact Kirby: Right Back at Ya! eyecatches and FUNimation did include them in the few DVDs that they produced of the series.
Thank you.
There is a worker from 4kids named Micheal Haigney that said in an interview podcast that all 4kids shows had bumpers included so I do believe all 4kids produced shows have bumpers baked into a specific masters.
This is an interesting topic. During my first search the only thing I could find about this game is oddly enough old rumors about a Soul Calibur remake game coming soon to the DS. Here are few forum posts I found discussing that rumor.: neogaf.com/threads/soul-calibur-remake-on-ds.30901/ www.killermovies.com/forums/f66/t360286.html After that, I did a cursory search on the Bootleg Games Wiki and their forums for Soul Calibur but I didn't find anything. I recommend reposting these photos and asking if anyone on the Bootleg Games community knows anything about this obscure DS game.
