Not sure if it's lost, but I remember looking for a Reader Rabbit game, one of the first "games" I ever played, and eventually finding its boxart on Google Images. On the boxart, my birthday was written in a handwriting that strongly resembles my father's. Spooky, I know. Can't find it anywhere now.
Dark Orders was a game created by an Indie game developer that went by the name "Cubicsoft" and "Morida Games", I assume at some point they switched their name. (I checked where they claimed to be located, with no business records of them even existing) They also had a Kickstarter for the game that was not successful. They eventually released a demo of the game (now also lost) which was in reality just what he/she was able to create using their own funds or possibly outside funding.
On their website , which was recently taken down for unknown reasons, they said they had finished Dark Orders Chapter 2 & 1 with outside funding, and they would be released soon. This never happened, and they took down their website. However, there was an update released for the Chapter 1 demo which I would guess was the full game. Two could have also been released , but taken down.
I've tried contacting their email - but have gotten no response.
It looks like he sold 3 in the last few months. I wonder if they are sitting on a supply of them but doing one at a time to keep the price up.
According to his comments on my video, he's priced the game for lower than another seller he knows of. There couldn't possibly be a supply, either, as he says authorities have confiscated/destroyed most of the cartridges when they decided to regulate content appropriateness at shops tourists would buy from.
Im trying to decide if its worth it to buy a copy - as a collector piece. I might wait for the ROM to get dumped then make my own copy
More likely than not, not all units were sold - being that this was around the time the DS launched, I wouldn't be surprised if none of the tickets were found.
