Here are some possibilities, ranked from most probable to most interesting: 1. It was just an onscreen advertisement graphic that didn't do a very good job in getting across what it was for 2. Some jackass at the network threw it in as a joke (if it was a local ABC affiliate this would be very hard to verify) 3. You and your mom both hallucinated it 4. Someone was standing behind you in your home while you were watching it, holding up a screen that had those words on it (backwards), and you just saw the reflection in the TV 5. You're actually dead, and that's the universe's way of letting you know you're in purgatory
We only have one local channel, and it's shared between FOX and CBS news, so I doubt it was a local channel. I am very doubtful it was an onscreen advertisement, as that was literally all that was on screen. Also we were the only ones home, my Sister and Brother were away looking at colleges at the time, and my dad was in Ireland.
I know this probably sounds fake, maybe even like a creepy pasta. But I swear, it happened:
In around 2013-2014, only about a year after the original release of The Hunger Games movie. For some reason (Sadly, I can't remember) I was watching the broadcast with my Mother. When the part of the movie approached where the Character Rue dies, there is a shot seen through her eyes that fades to white. When the fade happened, an unusual text appeared on the screen, slightly transparent text saying, in all caps "STAY BURIED". I didn't think much of it, as me and my Mother guessed we had just missed it when we first saw the movies in theaters. Anyway, the other day I was watching for the 3rd time, but the text "STAY BURIED" didn't appear on screen. I did some research, but found no evidence of this even existing. I don't have a recording of this happening, all I know about it is that it aired on ABC in around 2013-2014.
If anyone has seen this, or knows something about it, please let me know. :-)
Probably, I read Nick Mag from '06-'09, when it was cancelled. Although I don't remember much of Nick Mag, they did stuff like that. Speaking of that, a considerable amount of old-ish child-oriented comics I have somewhere I can't seem to find anywhere online aside from some simple cover scans (anyone remember Mad KIDS? That was a thing.), although I'm not sure if they're LM-worthy.
For the sake of proper documentation, you should scan and post them somehwere on the fourm... they are technically lost media after all :-)
Bump. So I can't seem to contact Ross Lee on twitter due to him being inactive a lot. So that leaves no one we can contact. I have not gotten a single response on this piece of lost media. The fact 2 of the episodes found are duplicates, which I think is ridiculous. We can't tell BBC that we want this show on the internet, or just TV like it used to be on because the BBC isn't got a contact email.
Do they have a support phone number we could call them with?
UPDATE 9/19/16: I have received a response from both Matt Karl (Interactive Director and Co-Founder at CloudKid) and MPB. No episodes yet. I legally can't reveal what the email from MPB said however, I will summarize by saying it's now up to their TV Director weather or not to give the episodes to me, I will update when I receive a response.
Just did, will let you know if they respond. Also I was searching for anything on the Animated episodes on Google and YouTube and found someone already made a video on the topic from this thread: www.youtube.com/watch?v=htzvWUlAVaI
I'm still yet to get a response from any of the 3 parties I've contacted - I'm going to contact everyone majorly involved with Cloud Kid Studio to see if they respond.
Good Luck LMAO.
God I sound so desperate to find this shit even though I know I'll never even watch them... At this point it's just for the sake of documentation
Lmfao, the guy who made it sounds like a 14 year old who uses an audio editor to make his voice deeper XD
I have my sound turned off so it looks like an odd slideshow.
Lmfao
