I use Chrome so I can't play it RN, but I'm installing firefox. Feel free to check it out and see if it matches the game you described while it installs.
EDIT: Okay, that game is most likely the one you were talking about. But rather than feeding a restaurant you feed yourself? But it's the only one I could find on Miniclip with the artstyle you described.
It may well have been cartoonish rather than pixel-ly, but if anything i remember the art style being simple if anything. The reason i havent bothering doing base level internet research is due to the surge of popularity of sushi in western culture in the last few years, google searching will confirm this.
I'm going to look around on Miniclip and Ninjakiwi this weekend... Do you know what year you played it in?
I spent a lot of time on Ninjakiwi around that time, wasn't the game called "Sushi King" or something along those lines? I can't recall it having a pixel art style, but more a cartoonish style. But for all I know we're talking about completely different games.
The following has been found: Hello everyone, I just recently joined this fourm in hopes to find some... odd shorts I remember seeing on my younger siblings favorite TV show. Sadly, she can't remember the name of it, however we do remember some of the details. It surrounded talking hands, (*not hand puppets*) with googly eyes glued onto them. They'd have about 2-3 shorts in-between scenes per episode. They had a reoccuring series of shorts of a man hanging off a cliff going through weird events. One involved him buying a house, and another had something to do with a kitty pool. At the end he's open his mouth very rubber like and scream "Can't Hold on Much Longer" as the words appeared in Red text across the screen saying that in sync with him speaking.
I'll do my best to answer any questions you all might have, but forgive me if my answers aren't very in-depth.
EDIT 9/18/16: I'm converting this thread to the Animated Episode search. The only clips of the episodes we have so far are on Vimeo lasting only 1:10 long, it's unknown which Amimated episode this was. I've contacted WGBH, will update when I get a response.
UPDATE 9/18/16: I have reached out to Co-Founder of CloudKidStudio (creators of the episodes) Dave Schlafman via Twitter. Still no response from WGBH (creators of the original show)
UPDATE 9/19/16: I have received a response from both Matt Karl (Interactive Director and Co-Founder at CloudKid) and MPB. No episodes yet. I legally can't reveal what the email from MPB said however, I will summarize by saying it's now up to their TV Director weather or not to give the episodes to me, I will update when I receive a response.
Pretty sure Nintendo confirmed this to be true. Anyway, our best bet would be to contact the team in charge of distribution for the Nintendo 64 add-on it was being made for, or the development team themself.
I remember seeing a commercial for this. Pretty sure it was Mid-Late 2008 I saw the commercial. My older brother Tyler was with me when the commercial came on, he said that it looked cool. He may have watched it, I just shot him a text I'll update when he responds.
