Now, I will get this out of the way here, some footage has been found of this rare program, but no full episodes except the Dick and Dom one.
Chute was a UK television program made by the BBC for the children's network, CBBC. It was presented by Ross Lee, in a rubbish tip playing himself. The show lasted from Sept. 2007 to Dec. 2007, and only had 1 series on BBC One, but was later repeated on the CBBC Channel from 2007-2008. The rubbish tip's amount of tapes is an outrageous 83,000 all over the floor.
Only some footage has been found of this rare BBC show, and was never released on BBC DVD or on the BBC IPlayer. Only the episode with Dick and Dom was uploaded full, but without the tapes footage, due to copyright reasons. Some of the tapes footage has been found on YouTube.
At the end of the episodes, a green monster with purple spots drags away the viewer and shows a picture of a child.
p.s: I was scared of the monster as a young child XP

This sounds weird. I guess the BBC didn't have the money to rent out a local Welsh quarry, so they chose the next cheapest thing.

Oh, believe me, it gets weirder. The fact is that you could download videos of the show on dabungalowonline, meaning the footage was not lost, but it is now as if you try to download a video, it doesn't download.
EDIT: Wait, It works apparently, well on my Mac but still, I'm surprised. EDIT2: I just downloaded one of the clips on the website, and I downloaded the CBBC promo from 2007, which has footage of Chute!
I actually remember watching this. I can't remember much other than that there were guest appearances of actors from other CBBC shows. I do remember wondering how he survived, as they emphasized that there was no escape (what did he eat/drink?). It's kind of ironic a show about stuff that is thrown away was canceled and "thrown away" itself.
The only episode, as I mentioned, was the one with Dick and Dom, who also had their own show on CBBC called Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow which ran from 2002-2006. The clips have been edited for copyright reasons and in 2 parts.
Speaking of Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, there was a clip on this episode called Baby Race, where they raced babies. I dunno how to explain it, just watch for yourself:
Anyway, anyone remember what happened in the show? Maybe even post what they remember seeing. Also, could somebody make a Lost Media Wiki article on this?
EXTRA: Here's a clip of some of the actors of Sarah Jane Adventures ending down the Chute! Again, sorry for the countless edits, keep forgetting things a lot: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQvVU9dXD9Q

It's been a while on this thread so I wanted to update you, I have contacted one of the companies involved with Chute however, I have not gotten a response yet, so it might take a while. But the search for episodes might be hard, due to how rare this show is, even though it wasn't on DVD. If you have any footage of Chute in your library, please upload it to YouTube and post it here. Thanks.
Wait, I think I didn't send them the email, i'll do it tomorrow xP

Something I didn't know was that, from that reel, Ross Lee was on a Hot Chip music video? Woah. Anyway, I'm going to create a Lost Media Wiki page on this show, and maybe someone could update it with information i'd love to know.
Dont you think that the tree shows which are dick and dom in da bungalow, the slammer and Chute! are kinda related. Maybe they are like inter linked. since they appeared on one another shows? But they all aired in different years? They all were produced by the same person which was Steve Ryde.
Sirs, I think it's time we put on our Razzledazzle hats and started really cracking this open quickly.
I'd agree. Ross Lee Ghoulies comes to mind, right? That's rare too. Wait, if you go to officialrosslee.com, once you've passed the "WHY DON'T YOU ALL COME IN" message by clicking it, there's a bit called TV Clips. If you select Chute and one of the episodes, its actually full episodes of the Chute. Does this mean, Chute isn't lost anymore? Yes, yes it is. Chute finally has been found!
EDIT: Okay so I've just seen that, on dabungalowonline, there were actually 13 episodes, however only 7 have been found, so this means that we are missing 6 episodes.
