Some more possible listings I came across that may be it if we can track them down: "Coming Home" By Steele, a German Prog Rock band that self-released an LP called Coming Home in 1983. "Comin' Back Home" By Michael C. Kirch, who self-released an album called 'Beginnings" in 1985.
As usual, I messaged those involved with adding these listings to Discogs. Hope to hear back from one of them. Unfortunately, the others listed before never got back to me...

Anyways I'm interested in finding this too I watched a lot of tv growing up lol so there's a chance I've seen it myself. It does sound kind of familiar. I know it's not in here but this is a playlist I put together with a bunch of old shows from Canada in the 90s and 2000s. Might jog your memory who knows? www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUZC0Gk2eG5gyzeYgcDwbK0c-Y13T6NuD
This list is amazing
Thank you! I put a lot of work into finding stuff to put on it. Making sure the shows are at least partly Canadian and not just aired in Canada. I watch the playlist a lot for myself for nostalgia. I didn't see anything else like it on YouTube really so glad i could fill a niche. Did you ever find your show?? I'd love to put it on the list if it's online.
I do vaguely remember a game like this. Do you remember what site it was on?
It was hosted on its own site, I believe.
Hmm I might be thinking of something different then but I remember a game called Smileys or something like that where you played as emojis. I think it was on one of the free game sites from back in the day. I might be getting that mixed up with what you're looking for. But I know there was more one game with those old Emoji characters so idk
I've done lots of research through releases on Discogs for this song and "CIA" both are unknown songs. (I made a thread for the other song) sadly nothing has come up yet:(
OMG I have one of these! I just bought a vhs player as I have some old vhs tapes that were given to us as a child. I put one in that said "Mother Goose Volume 1" it's from 1988 and features various different Mother Goose nursery rhymes with songs and animals. Some of the nursery rhymes are closer to the original ones and have some strange moments. I tried searching it up and found this thread!
My brother played a mobile game in the 2010s he hasn't been able to identify. It was a platformer with a lizard character who walked on two legs and used his tongue to advance the levels by sticking it to platforms.
And I vaguely remember playing this flash game where you were racing a buggy or something on a long freeway overpass. It was, I think, semi-3d. Every time I saw the music video for "19-2000" by The Gorillaz, I always thought "Hey! It's just like that game!".
The second one wasn't gorillaz final drive, was it?
Holy crap I think it was! I didn't think the Gorillaz were actually attached to it I always thought it was just my kid memory mixing them up. I haven't seen that game in probably close to 20 years so thanks!!

Yup I know. But I considered the possibility of it being played on the radio in 1985 but not actually released officially for a few years. Not to mention some uploads say 1984, one upload says 'circa 1985'. So i went back some years and forward some years just in case.
I feel like going all the way up to 1989 is a bit of a stretch, though.
It is but like i said in the messages i sent to ppl on Discogs I'm looking under every rock I find.
The video you posted explicitly says the song was recorded in 1984, so that significantly cuts down the number of songs to look at here.
The actual original upload says 1985 so that’s another option youtu.be/-Q46N3IYg0Y

Looking through my messages now.. I sent a lot of them lol
The songs are: (and keep in mind these are just guesses based on the sounds and name titles and the fact they came up when I searched for various different variations of the believed names of the song),
"Winter In This Town" by Garden Bower, a Canadian alt rock band who self released an album in 1986,
"Coming Home Tonight" by Infantry, a U.S band that released an ep in 1987,
"Homecoming" by Shower Team, a Canadian new wave band that self released an album in 1987,
"Coming Home" by Cal Scott, a U.S artist that released an album in 1986.
"Coming Home" by Look Who's Talking, a dutch band who released a self titled ep in 1988,
"Coming Home" by The Switch, a uk band who self released an ep in 1978,
"Sunset In The Winter Time" by Pattern Play, a Canadian band who self released an ep in 1985,
I even looked into a song called 'Living In a Bunker" by Third Party, a Canadian band who had their song featured on a 1985 compilation called "Saskatoon Rocks".
It might be one of them, it might be none of them. The one thing they have in common is they are the only songs unaccounted for that came up while searching for the CIA song.

Speaking of jump scares. I remember one that was pretty popular on the internet growing up. It may have been on something like Stupid Videos.Com. It had secruity cam type footage of a seemingly normal man sitting on a couch or something like that qnd nothing happened for quite awhile before a jump scare at the end. It was one or those "look closely" type videos. Maybe I should make a thread about it lol though I don't know if it can be found. There's probably a million like it out there.
I have seen that before but its not it. I'm pretty sure it was the black and white version of that Humpty Dumpty cartoon mentioned above. I must have just misremembered the other food items cause that plot is way too similar

Idk how i missed this reply but that cartoon is eerily similar to how i remember it... It could very well be it. But i do remember more food items not just eggs.
