And if this also counts, finding out that the "missing" Minerva Mink shorts weren't ever even made. That was a bit disappointing.
Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have just used a TV Tropes mention as ground for making that article...
Rapsitte Street Kids seemed to look as horrible as expected from the reel we had before finding it, if not more so on at least the blonde girl's modelling. So in that regard, it didn't disappoint.
See if they archive their Nickelodeon promos. I've heard that people just delete their old promos, but I don't know if that's truly true or not. Cartoon Network's 10th anniversary bumper contained a lot of footage from previous network stuff and Primal Screen has definitely kept some Powerhouse work they've done.
The oym-museum Tumblr, which seems to share Pixar memorabilia, is an owner of the Pixar Made in Point Richmond DVD, an employee-given DVD containing non-film work Pixar had done up to their move from Pt. Richmond or so including the following treasures...
-The mysterious Blowin' in the Wind animation test -A DVD-quality copy of possibly the uncensored version of Knick Knack (the one wit tha booooobs) -It's Tough to be a Bug and "Buzz Ride" footage -Pixar Party Videos -DVD-quality copies of most of the 79 Pixar commercials -The Luxo Jr. Sesame Street shorts that might contain the original audio track (not sure if this is a true thing) -A DVD-quality copy of the first Toy Story appearance at the Oscars -A Bug's Life Ponkikies -A second Toy Story 2 in-character interview -Some Toy Story ABC bumpers I've never heard of outside of this DVD -DVD-quality Buzz Lightyear of Star Command Pixar animation -Jessie's Cowgirl Hall of Fame acceptance speech
I've been able to get in contact with the person before and they have written more online about the Blowin' In The Wind piece, but they haven't straight up ripped the delicious DVD contents to share with all of us.
Those message boards are shutting down see, and at the very least with the BIONICLE-related Ask Greg Farshtey topic, is there an easy way to (perhaps wayback machine) archive all those pages?
I think it may have been the mention on TV Tropes' Missing Episode page: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MissingEpisode I contributed an article for the fascinating early version of Foodfight! and the rest is history.
