Oh shit, gonna have to find a way to watch Canal 5 now lol because I cannot for the life of me find any recordings, lets hope any of them will contain the foghorn logo
Are these times in EST?
I found this website, u can watch Canal 5 here, it seems to work fine and its in good quality. I think its filled with ads though, so be careful. Obviously its completely in spanish.
I really hope we can find the foghorn logo. Like i said before im 100% sure i have heard this logo so many times on these re-runs. But it has been years since i watched the channel.
Thank you so much! I'll check it out tomorrow around the times that were showed, I have UBlock installed so the ads shouldn't be a problem, I hope we find this too, I need closure on this topic
I just checked Canal 5 schelude, and yup. They still do Spongebob re-runs. Around 3-4pm

Wow, crazy to think that TV broadcasts as of now could have this.
But this makes me wonder if this version of the logo was specific to other markets and was never actually shown on the U.S. Nickelodeon.
Considering we have more accounts of it happening outside of the US I don't even know if we should consider this being a US thing, ofc we still don't fully know if it exists but I really hope it does as this would be such a cool thing to find, I'm gonna keep looking around for just random spongebob recordings and reruns on Canal 5 to see if something just happens to turn up
I went through a LOT of Spongebob credits videos, my main focus were videos from Mexico or Canal 5 related, but i soon started finding out a ton of stuff from France, Brazil, Deutsch, etc... Videos recorded with the worst quality possible, some from 2010. Videos from 2020/ a few years ago, screen recorded credits, and nothing.
I swear, i have been at least an hour watching Spongebob credits from different countrys and channels, and nothing. Its honestly so weird to me, because i vividly remember seeing this logo variant a lot of times, and now its just like it doesnt exists. I also found videos from someone who recorded the credits from multiple SpongeBob DVD's and still nothing.

This is what I was about to say, what if this variation was used in different conturies and not in the us? It would make sense why we haven't been able to find it, maybe it was in another country. I live in Serbia but I don't think they had it in there, but then again I watched mostly on nick where they cut off the credits.

Damn part of me wants to say this doesn't exist but another part wants to keep looking, is there like anyone we can contact at Nick or someone who worked on Spongebob about this, I know its a stretch but thats the only thing I can think of at this point

Been watching some split screen credits videos on youtube because why not, still am at the moment. Haven't found anything too noteworthy yet just a lot of the same waves crashing and seagulls that we've been seeing, my sister has also said she swears she's seen it before too so now I have no idea what to believe at the moment
I remember for the missing Astrology with Squidward shorts (which do not exist), the claim spread around was specifically that the missing shorts were only aired internationally, which helped boost the idea of why they were so rare.
But the fact that the original claim of the Foghorn variant did not specify international airings, it makes me think it was written in the context of being with the US and wouldn't have been aired internationally.
While I do still think the international theory is worth continuing to look into, the lack of international wording in the original claim makes me suspicious about it being aired in another country. And while I do like giving old memories the benefit of the doubt, it's not always reliable when it comes to SpongeBob lost media.

It's possible it could be Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or other country where the main language is English and why it's doesn't sound international

You do bring up good points, I do feel like if it would be anywhere it would be in another country's airing since everything we've been looking into in the US has given nothing, I'll try looking into more international airings and see if that gets us anywhere
This case has had a long time to have proof found for it and nothing has been found. Well over a year of searching and the case is about SpongeBob? One of the shows with the best preserved television history? I really do not think this exists. I honestly think it's time to put this in the "Mandela effect/fandom lie" pile.
