You wanna know what really sucked about Treehouse in its dark age? They removed Bob the Builder in 2013 and only aired it sporadically that year! Me and my brother only got to see two half hour airings of it featuring “Wallpaper Wendy” and “Mucky Muck” on Mother’s Day, and “Bob’s Barnraising” and “Naughty Spud” on Thanksgiving, plus the movie “A Christmas to Remember” at Christmas! Bob didn’t deserve to suffer like that!
Honestly, I’m glad Treehouse didn’t decide to air that god-awful reboot of Bob in 2015…
Family Channel and Family Jr. are airing "A Christmas to Remember" (the special w/ Elton John) several times this holiday season.

Really? I had A Christmas to Remember on VHS and remember seeing it on Treehouse a few times! Also, why doesn’t Family Channel or Family Jr. bother to air the Original Series of Bob the Builder? It would be nice if they showed the original half-hour airings of the US dub!

I just checked the TV listings for A Christmas to Remember, and it’s airing on Monday morning at 9:40 AM. I can imagine some people’s reactions to this airing on Family: “Wow, Bob the Builder? Haven’t seen this for years!” “Why is Bob the Builder interrupting my usual time watching stuff for kids like me, not these young kids like my baby brother!”
I’m excited. I might watch it on Family when it airs!

Ok, so what was the reason for Treehouse cancelling the Classic Series of Thomas the Tank Engine (the 4:30 episodes)? I loved it when they aired those! It was so exciting to see a classic Thomas episode come on after a show was over!

Does anyone know about the lost episodes of Treetown? There’s like three and a half lost episodes, and there’s a whole bunch of lost Treetown shorts that we haven’t even found yet.

Now that I think about it… I’m beginning to appreciate Rolie Polie Olie. Olie happens to be one of my favorite characters on the show, but my most favorite character is probably Pappy.

I had no idea that Postman Pat aired on Treehouse in January 2003 a few months before I was born. I wish that Treehouse could have reran episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 in 2008! That would have been great, instead of seeing Special Delivery Service… Whatever. SDS was alright…

I'm aware of them. "Bonjour Hello", "Friendship", and "Head to Toe" were the three lost episodes. And yeah there's probably too much to count in terms of the amount of Treetown shorts that has not surfaced online. I don't even know how many shorts were produced overall lol.
Tony Maloney (the user who uploaded the Purple Stew vignette) did state this, "Big thanks to Andrew in the replies (my father) for recording so much treetown on VHS." It presumably indicates there might be some other Treetown content on the tape.
Actually, there's probably several or some other shows from Treehouse recorded on that VHS, given that Andrew said he was "recording whatever was playing on Treehouse at the time." I might try to pin-point the exact day it was recorded and see what was broadcasting during those times.

I’m watching the Bob the Builder special A Christmas to Remember on Family right now, and it’s the US dub! I thought they were going to air the UK dub!

Well, I guess that airing of A Christmas To Remember will be the only time that the Original Series of Bob the Builder airs on Family Jr. and Family Channel…

It was fun rewatching the special though!
It'd be nice for Family Jr. to have a retro block with stuff like classic "Caillou", classic "Bob the Builder", classic "Teletubbies", "Zoboomafoo", "Franny's Feet", "Katie and Orbie", "The Secret World of Benjamin Bear", "Henry's World", etc.

Yes, it definitely would be. We’d have ALL the half hour episodes of the Original Series of Bob the Builder (the US dub) if they did a retro block like that! I’m not really a fan of Caillou or Teletubbies, though.

I wish Treehouse would do a retro channel seperate from the current one with all the old shows I used to watch… But sadly, Corus never listens.
