The one thing I always noticed is that it's not that common to find VHS tapes with content from Treehouse TV. To me, even when I find the smallest bit of content (Like that small recording of "Dora the Explorer" from 2002), it is sacred to me since it is so uncommon. But I still would like to find more tapes (mostly from like 2000 to 2006). If anyone has any in their collection, please do me a favor and digitize them, because I'm trying to accumulate as many recordings, promos, bumpers, and rare shows as I possibly can. If you don't, possibly you can see if anyone you know does. If I had known at the time, I would've recorded a lot more. Please scour your VHS collections and get the word out to other people to do the same.
Agreed! Our childhoods shouldn't just be forgotten like this! If I only knew as well, at the time how rare these programs would become I would have tapped them too sadly we took them for granted when they were on
i'll keep an eye on this tape and try to bid on it 👀 if i win it, i'll have to send it to one of you since i don't have the proper equipment to digitize the contents

Hey guys, so um uhhhh... I remember scrolling through one of my mom's old phones, and I noticed these Dora videos in the gallery. I clicked on them, and it looks like I filmed clips of Dora the Explorer using the phone and cam-ripped parts of the episodes. All of these were recorded back in September-October of 2012. Every episode there, were season 1 reruns. I will try to transfer them to my computer and upload them to archives, until we fix that phone or get a new battery, as it fell in the toilet a long time ago and it has problems.
I know and I was able to pin-point the dates because 1. I vividly remember filming them around this time 2. It shows the date 3. It had the 2011-2013 Treehouse watermark. (acorn house, but it has the treehouse logo)
From what I remember, the videos all included my 7 year old voiceover, and it also included some background noise where you can hear my parents and siblings talking. I don't know if there are any bumpers or promos recorded though, as I just wanted the contents from Dora. (the vid is probably shaky tbh, I was literally 7 lol)
Speaking of Dora, I am the same person who uploaded that small 2002 Treehouse TV recording where it has a full episode of Dora the Explorer (Episode: Beach) with the November 2002 - February 2003 watermark. (Treehouse logo, but it's barely transparent, small opacity) Recorded on Friday, December 6, 2002. Man, if we recorded a little more and had content after the end credits, we actually would've gotten an episode of 'I Can Do It' except it's the same episode we typically see online. (Dressing for the cold)

Do you guys think I should re-capture my Dora the Explorer Treehouse TV 2002 recording, but as a VHS rip? I feel like ripping it into HQ rather than having it in camera quality.
...is what i WOULD'VE said if i lost the bid, BUT i won it LOL
im gonna contact my friend and see if i can send this over to him and have him rip the contents, if not i'll dig around in the garage and see if we have anything i can work with

You had us in the first half, ngl. That is awesome. Thank you for this. Can't wait to see it. BTW, the recording in question turned 16 very recently.
i mean, i can send you the tape after i rip the contents if you would like to have the physical copy, once i rip what's on it i have no real incentive to keep it afterwards
