Interesting. Hey, do you have any old Treehouse recordings?
Sorry, I don't have any. I used to have a recorded VHS of some Treehouse content that my grandparents taped for me so I could watch Treehouse at home (We didn't have cable at my house back then, so I had to watch Treehouse at my grandparents' place, or get them to tape some shows for me onto them). I have no idea what happened to the tape... I think my mother threw it out.
I used to watch Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Bob the Builder, and Ants in your Pants with my grandfather. Every Friday night, I'd stay at my grandparents' house and I'd stay up late at night to watch Ants in your Pants. Ah, the memories... I could go on and on about my Treehouse memories for hours...
now I'm just getting nostalgic, ants in your pants, treetown, crazy quilt, wee3, my special book, nini's treehouse and max the cat are all really reminiscent to me given I'm born in 2000, I'm pretty sure I used to have lost wiggles stuff on DVD. I remember there were these Christmas movies that only aired on treehouse too that I would get so excited for.

Oh yeah! I remember they aired some of the Rankin-Bass Christmas specials like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, The Year Without a Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, The Little Drummer Boy... Those are some of the few Christmas specials I remember seeing on the channel. Also, I think every year they would air the Bob the Builder episodes "Bob's White Christmas", "Bob and the Big Freeze", and "Bob of the North", along with the specials "A Christmas to Remember" and "Snowed Under: at the Bobblesberg Winter Games". For Thomas the Tank Engine, I remember they would air the episode "Thomas' Christmas Party" from Season 1. I think they might have aired "Thomas and the Missing Christmas Tree" from Season 2 as well, but I'm not quite sure if they ever did.

There's some more Treehouse content I remember that may be lost... There's the last two episodes of Treetown, and some missing Ants in your Pants episodes... There's also some lost promos and "Up Next" bumpers... I'll have to check the CRTC programming logs for Treehouse to see if there's any that we didn't find.

I just looked at some of the CRTC logs for Treehouse, and found out about some lost promos... There were promos for Kleo the Misfit Unicorn, Hello Kitty, Toy Castle, Babar, Wimzie's House, Bob the Builder (from 2004, I believe), The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon, Bear in the Big Blue House, The Berenstain Bears, Henry's Amazing Animals, Tipi Tales, and many Christmas-themed promos along with some Halloween ones, "Up Next" bumpers for some of the shows previously mentioned (Kleo the Misfit Unicorn, Hello Kitty, Toy Castle, Babar, Wimzie's House, The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon, Bear in the Big Blue House, The Berenstain Bears, Henry's Amazing Animals), along with "Up Next" bumpers for Rubbadubbers, Backyardigans, Igloo-Gloo, The Mole Sisters (I'm not quite sure if this is lost or canadianchildhood recorded this to one of his tapes), The Wiggles (The Greg era), Treetown, Wumpa's World, Mighty Machines, This is Daniel Cook, Farzzle's World, Play with Me Sesame... There's so many bumpers and promos that are lost!
If anyone's still got any VHS recordings of vintage Treehouse TV, keep circulating the tapes.
You make a very good point, fabfourfan95... Keep circulating the tapes, everyone! You may find some pretty cool stuff on them, like some rare promos or 'Coming Up Next' bumpers! I, for one, would like to see some more tapes of classic Treehouse TV content uploaded to the Internet, and I certainly hope we can find some tapes of Treehouse from September 2003 (I feel that's when the true Golden Age of the channel began) to 2007 and early-to-mid 2008 (mid-2008 is when the channel slowly began to go down the toilet, until they removed all the classic shows in 2011 and had that stupid old makeover in April 2013).
Here's my chart of Treehouse TV eras in my opinion (Nov. 1997 to Sep. 1999) The Beginning - Part 1 (Sep. 1999 to Sep. 2001) The Beginning - Part 2 (Sep. 2001 to Aug. 2003) The Golden Age - Part 1 (Sep. 2003 to Sep. 2005) The Golden Age - Part 2 (Sep. 2005 to Feb. 2008) The Silver Age (Feb. 2008 to Feb. 2011) The Bronze Age (Feb. 2011 to Mar. 2013) The Dark Age (Mar. 2013 to Sep. 2016) The Modern Age - Part 1 (Sep. 2016 to Aug. 2020) The Modern Age - Part 2 (Aug. 2020 to pres.) The Current Age
it'd be really cool if we could find something like max the cat or beezoos attic
Yeah, I know! I was born in 2003, and Max the Cat was one of my favorite shows to watch on Treehouse, along with Treetown, Ants in your Pants, The Bittles, Crazy Quilt (The one with Maggie and Jackson the raccoon), Wumpa's World, Bob the Builder, Rubbadubbers, The Wiggles, Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Dragon, Mighty Machines, The Big Comfy Couch, among many others.

I was born in May 2003, so I experienced the middle of the first part of the Golden Age, and then I got to experience the second part of the Golden Age up until the Modern Age... I didn't like that makeover they had in March 2013. It just made them look like modern Nick Jr. to me. The Dark Age was the worst, because they removed ALL the classic shows. I think Treehouse began to go downhill way before the Modern Age... The reason I say this is because they removed Ants In Your Pants in February 2008, which was a sad time for me... They also removed the 4:30 Thomas the Tank Engine episodes, which was even sadder....

While looking at the CRTC logs, I noticed that Treehouse aired a LOT of promos for Barney, Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Rubbadubbers, Bob the Builder, and Thomas and Friends in September 2003 up until September 2006. Part of me thinks they were secretly rooting for Hit Entertainment (Not that it would be a bad thing).... That must have been great! I liked a lot of Hit properties, especially Bob the Builder, Rubbadubbers and Thomas and Friends.

Even after the Golden Age and Silver Age had passed, Treehouse still brought some good shows to their channel like The Koala Brothers. I nearly forgot about that show! (Fun fact: I had DVDs of the show before it even premiered on Treehouse!) Also, I remember having a Koala Brothers toy which had figures of Frank and Buster, the Koala Brothers themselves, with bendable arms, complete with a playset of the Homestead (I think), the gate where they would take off, and their plane to go along with it. I wanted a figure of Archie the Crocodile so badly... Archie was one of my favorite Koala Brothers characters, along with Frank, Buster, and George.
I think the dark age really started when they premiered My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They cancelled all the classic shows after that...

I agree. Now we have "Baby Shark" and "Ryan's Mystery Playdate" on Treehouse (but only because they are required to air them due to exclusivity agreements with Nick). But yeah, the bronze age did have some gems like "Big & Small", "Yo Gabba Gabba!", "Mister Maker", "In the Night Garden", "Wiggle & Learn", "My Friend Rabbit", "Ni Hao, Kai-Lan", and "Bert & Ernie's Great Adventures", among others. I prefer these shows over some Golden & Silver age shows (every generation had its gems and its duds).

I’ll take Rubbadubbers over Baby Shark’s Big Show any day! Besides, Rubbadubbers has a much better character who is a shark, and I’m talking about Finbar!
On the topic of Treehouse’s Bronze Age gems, Big & Small, Mister Maker and Wiggle and Learn were also three of my favorites. (Sam wasn’t as good as Greg, but he did the job as Yellow Wiggle fairly well. It’s kinda like how Joe hosted Blue’s Clues, he did the job alright, but he wasn’t as good as Steve.) I didn’t really like In the Night Garden… It seemed kinda mindless. My Friend Rabbit was okay, my brother used to watch it when he was little. I absolutely loved when Treehouse brought Sesame Street to its lineup because that meant I didn’t really have to watch it on PBS as often! Oh, and did I forget to mention Timmy Time? That was made by Aardman Animations, the same people who made the Wallace & Gromit short films! It sure was sad when they removed Ants In Your Pants in February 2008 though… It was even sadder when they removed the 4:30 Thomas the Tank Engine episodes… It felt so sad to see Treehouse go into that dark age. First MLP:FiM, the classic shows all die a painful death, and then a silly old makeover that makes the channel look like modern Nick Jr.?
