Wow! Great to see this. The Suncoast Digest program and everything else from John G.'s expanded video look as if they were broadcast yesterday, digitized directly from the master tapes. Historical find. I seriously hope we get to see more like this, this is what we need to see so Christine Chubbuck is recognized for more than just a tragic moment. Whoever is custodian of more Christine Chubbuck footage of her at work has a duty to share it all with the world. If they want to discourage the interest in her death then show everyone how she lived.

They aren't looking for footage of her suicide. If you lot spent more than a few seconds reading the last couple of pages before lashing out, you would've seen that. (though i don't blame you for thinking that they were if you only looked at the OP from 2016. cos it looks like a different group were looking for her suicide tape. Maybe there should be a new thread?)
What was found, is the only footage of Christine doing her normal news show. From the looks of it they're looking for normal footage and photos of her, which imo is wonderful because all too often people are reduced to their deaths. It's more than a little disgusting people use these cases as horror fodder for their ~top spookiest lost media 'searches'~ but I digress. I actually wish there was a different term for cases like Christine's death footage, since "lost media" to me inherently implies some sort of search...

I hope you're able to uncover more episodes of Suncoast Digest (And just to avoid being yelled at, obviously not... thatone.), and people are able to know Christine for more than her death. It goes without saying that it's tragic that it's the only thing people know her for.

Only if the mods are needed to rein in the people who jumped to conclusions. As for the rest of us, we can talk in this thread if we want to. People like me are interested in seeing footage of Christine Chubbuck's other news work and journalism out of curiosity of what kind of person she was.
