I think that their "newest" cartoon is from the mid-90s.
I would love for them to add "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1987), "Biker Mice from Mars", "Bionic Six", among others.
I could see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles getting on there because the studio is not tied to anything too big of company except it's already on paramount+ which sucks. But they could pick up Fred Wolf Films which includes the 80's turtles among others. I doubt that Biker Mice from Mars will get on there because of its ties to Marvel Studios and Bionic Six has ties to NBC Universal that I also doubt will get on there.
Darn! Oh, well.
A furry with eclectic tastes who loves the 80s and 90s. Mostly 1984-1992.
My shows that I would like them to add is Jimmy Neutron, Ed Edd and Eddy, and Planet Sheen.
Ed Edd n Eddy could happen. Any Nickelodeon show will not be happening due to this channel's very strong ties to Warner Bros Discovery. Though I wonder if maaaaybe an exception like for '80s TMNT could happen. I wouldn't call that impossible. Rocky & Bullwinkle rules, I actually wish it aired in a better timeslot so it would be easier to record. At the same time, it aired around then on Cartoon Network back in the day when I first watched it, so it feels like a fitting time slot all the same too.
Here's ninety minutes of the morning of MeTV Toons' second day. This was a test recording to see if it would be possible to record using my TV tuner. I found it finicky to use so I probably won't use it that much, I prefer VHS.
The shows included are:
Police Academy The Real Ghostbusters Beetlejuice
I remember hearing somewhere MeTV was in kahoots with Viacom about MeTV toons tho it was for the Terrytoons/Mighty Mouse/Heckle and Jeckle license not the rights to air Nicktoons.
Alr here’s my MeTV Toons wishlist of shows and more that I want added in the future.
Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales (1963-1966) Ok I want this rather obscure show on the channel because of several reasons. The first one is it is a possible candidate for the channel since last time I remember checking NBCUniversal owns the rights and since shows like Underdog,Woody Woodpecker and Rocky and Bullwinkle are on the lineup it could happen.Secondly it contains the legendary Don Adams (Voice actor of Inspector Gadget) in an early voice-over roll.Thirdly I can’t really find this show on any major streaming services to my knowledge which is a shame because it seems like a fun watch,if it’s on any and my braindead —- missed it let me know.
A movie block This one is pretty self explanatory.Make something in the vain of Cartoon Network’s Cartoon Theater using the library of Specials,Feature Films, and TV Movies to your advantage.
Animaniacs (1993-1998,2020-2023) and Pinky and The Brain (1995-1998,1998-1999 (Pinky,Elmerya, and the Brain) Since they have Freakazoid might as well add more classic 90s Fox Kids/KidsWB toons.Plus Wakkos wish to add on to the movie idea.
At the moment this is my more grounded ideas,I may make ideas for potential future new blocks in the….well future.
How are you recording this? I'm also looking to save some shows. in other words, are you hooking up a HDMI to regular red, white yellow cables? and how?

Not sure if it's technically the same show, but Tennessee Tuxedo is on underdog. Between episodes of underdog, there's sometimes a Tennessee Tuxedo short. Like how rocky and Bullwinkle also had peabody and Sherman segments.

I doubt the rights for Animaniacs or Pinky and the Brain will ever be sold for cheap enough for stuff like this. It's too big of franchise plus the rights are held by Amblin Entertainment & Amblin Television and they air on different streaming platforms already for a purchase. Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales is already slated to be on there.

Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales had its own 30 minute episodes. It had 4 seasons. Yes they had shorts between episodes but it's not the same as the episodes and the full episodes are slated to be on the channel eventually.
EDIT: The full show The Best of Mr. Peabody & Sherman and not just the in-between/segments of Peabody & Sherman are slated to air as well.

you can get an HDMI to composite cable or RGB cable converter or do an HDMI splitter
Viacom/paramount is actually who is closely tied to Nickelodeon not Warner discovery
Yes, that's why it's unlikely anything from the channel will air on MeTV Toons, which is associated with Warner. That's what I was saying.
Cartoon Network = Turner = Warner, so there's a non-zero chance that shows in the vault over there could get aired on MeTV Toons, I just kinda doubt it. So far they've certainly drawn much from the Turner vault, but pre-CN existing Turner stuff.
