How are you recording this? I'm also looking to save some shows. in other words, are you hooking up a HDMI to regular red, white yellow cables? and how?
1. tape recorded via VCR hooked up to a TV tuner through composite (RWY) 2. VCR is plugged into a capture card (also composite) connected to my computer via USB 3. use XSplit to record what the capture card is seeing as the tape plays
I just use a cheaper Elgato as a capture card
Thank you!
I animate, I collect VHS tapes, I breathe in and out and walk around sometimes
Heard that Captain Planet was being broadcast in HD for the first on here(albeit upscaled)as WB has apparently been sitting on HD conversions for the show all this time(presumably they were originally done for some cancelled DVD release).
maybe someone should make a livestream that records MeTv toons all day. Just saying.
There's a guy out there recording every first airing of an episode of a show on the channel, so that's basically being done. I'm sure other people I'm not even aware of are making recordings too.
Oh yeah, and I'll get to work on compressing the MeTV Toons recordings I have that I haven't posted here yet down to 240p so they aren't massive files. I have two tapes (12 hours), one from the second day of the channels operation and the other from a few days a month after.

Is he uploading them on Internet Archive?
That place isn't exactly safe. Isn't it on the verge of being shut down?
