Oh god, yeah, the Swan Princess sequels with that janky CGI...no idea that they tried to sell out to China on top of that, just like dang Norm of the North (of all things) did. Norm of the North at least got its last sequel cancelled.
I think that the movies are now owned by some religious entertainment company too? Which which makes me wonder at least....
Who is watching these Swan Princess movies anyway??? I don't think I've heard any modern kids who express fondness for Swan Princess, not have I seen much in the way of nostalgia throwback videos for the series (beyond the first of course). I've seen plenty of Gen Z/Mil fondness for the direct to video Barbie movies or the Tinkerbell movies or even the Bratz movies (to an extent), but Swan Princess? Nope. EDIT: Have heard rumors that the 2 (!) SP sequels that came out recently are going to be the last movies. One can only hope....
I used to like his stuff but I hate it now. Amd again, hate the whole thing of calling everything weird. As much as I love Billiam, damn him for starting this.
Oh wow, that's interesting. Do you wish Conner would go back to (like) the bootleg stuff again? Because he got sick of doing bootleg stuff, and has said as much publicly. Hence the mass number of privated videos from the 2020-2022 period. EDIT: Oh also, I think he said somewhere once that on top of that burnout, he wasn't even drawing in the (fairly) massive number of viewers he used to (think like 200K per video vs. like 20K), so he was feeling miserable on top of it. "Selling out" with those kinds of videos wasn't even working for views anymore, so at some point, he likely wondered what the point was. Hence the change in direction for his content.
I just hate his stuff in general
I'm nothing but a mass of concrete yet my heart is calling my name

Ah, I see, was just curious if you didn't like the major change in direction in his channel that occurred 2022-23ish. I'm kinda mixed on it, because while I know he's at least doing stuff that he personally CARES about and he thus experiences less burnout now, part of me misses the older videos on stuff like random Gamecube games or old school Newgrounds videos/games or educational games or random overseas consoles. The newer videos don't really have that same energy or feel for me, and it's hard to say why. Not to mention the "I reviewed every ____ of _____" just isn't much my style, as that does feel like it's just following current trends. I currently don't care enough to watch multiple 1 1/2+ hour videos on Power Rangers.
And oh yeah, of course, everyone has different tastes in what they like on Youtube and that's okay too. I've been watching Conner for like 6+ years now, and even then, it's been sort of "on and off" with him for me.

Yeah I do personally skip over the Power Rangers stuff since I have not been passionate about the franchise since I was like 6 but people are entitled to their own opinions and I will respect them.

I'm going to assume that for the most part, only people who see these as review fodder & diehard Swan Princess fans would know about them, with the movies just sitting on store shelves, almost completely unheard of amongst kids even before the CGI era. I mean, for Pete's sake, there are a lot of Alpha And Omega fans who also like the sequels & yet seemingly NONE for the Swan Princess sequels. Heck, it's possible that most of the sequels weren't advertised all too well... if at all.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime
I have another two. All of the Burger King commercials that have the whopper song in them, like seriously, I hate that song and every commercial that plays it, and all of the Fast and Furious films. Seriously, isn't there enough of them the way it is? Like wasn't the point of them supposed to be about cars and racing, do they even focus on cars and racing anymore?

I was watching tv once, and THAT Burger King ad kept playing. It got very annoying.

The first movie did really well on home video and the crazy part is the guy who made that film was involved with all of the sequels.
4 pages in, and no one's mentioned The Land Before Time? I think 14 movies is a bit much. The only genre of video entertainment that makes more than 2-3 sequels to their movies is the porn industry, and when you've reached those kinds of numbers, you should really start thinking about some things.
Honestly, the worst those get is usually mediocre. 13 sucks, but the 2nd worst one(11) is mediocre. It's not like what happened in Ice Age, but yeah the amount of sequels it got is just wild.
The Swan Princess series also has like, 10 movies & unlike the LBT movies, the Swan Princess movies start going OFF THE RAILS. Like, no joke the 7th Swan Princess movie is a SPY PARODY WITH MODERN TECH JUST PUT IN. And here's proof: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXOi_uIk6Qc Oh & movies 9 and 10 involve a new set of Chinese characters for some reason(to expand the world? to appease the Chinese? to get more money? who knows?); Bobsheaux reviewed those: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXfyxswVTAqVCkdXWD5cPWS7FPg1LPPdO
Yeah Saberspark NEEDS to do a video series on how crazy the sequels got like he did with Alpha and Omega.

They saw how popular the ad got, so they decided to just abuse it and now pretty much nobody cares anymore
True that, especially in Mario Kart. Like, I want more WarioWare characters and more obscure Mario characters in my Mario Kart games, not Pink Rose Gold Bunny Suit Baby Peach!!

I didn't see your reply, sorry. I think I used to watch him when I was younger? Like, if there was no other videos of something I wanted to watch and he was the only one that didn't seem annoying.
