There is so much cut media from this! I wonder if it would get a recobbled version of it
I have made an alternative cut edit for the film. But the weird thing is that it's shorter than the final version. I could send you a link to it if you like.

I have no idea if this was the case, but the film might have been in a 21:9 aspect ratio. All the proof I have for this claim is 2 shots in 2 demo reels. The sources have already been contacted for more information.
If anybody has anything to say about this theory, please do! (And also, Barry has an alternative scream. So, that's the newest find.)

Ah, so this is supposed to be an Open Matte version of the film?

It was most likely considered at one point, as when I put the full film into this aspect ratio, it fits almost perfectly.
Right after Barry says his famous line "You like jazz?", he walks right. In the verry next shot, he's walking left. It was never shown him turning left. Maybe this is hinting at a deleted shot? What do you guys think?

just a coincidence is what I think
I found out that it is indeed a remanent of a deleted scene. The proof is on page 40 of the Bee Movie Junior Novelization.
Not trying to be mean here, but do you still know the source of this? It's ok if you don't, I'm just wondering here.
My source is an old contact I used to have. They were a MASSIVE DreamWorks collector, they had things I could only dream of having. They've reached out to many formal and current DreamWorks employee's and learned a lot of insider info.
