Its gonna be the 90s super mario movie all over again!
Given how much hate the teaser got, and it’s adapting a popular franchise…. Think more like 2016 Ghostbusters as a reference for how it’ll be received when it comes out.
I honestly respect the 90s Mario movie for what it was, it was certainly more interesting then the animated Mario film for me(Which more or less felt like a glorified 90 minute commercial for the games without a lot of substance, not bad but not very memorable IMO)Minecraft though I never got into period and I fail to see how there's enough plot to base a movie on, wonder if it will be as bad as that FNAF film?
i respect that, but i dont think the fnaf movie was that bad, unless your talking about that ripoff version.
Nope i'm talking about the official FNAF film, thought it was absolute dreck, course i'm someone that despises the games so i'm probably the wrong target audience for the film to begin with.

Most people enjoyed that movie tho as it has a fresh rating on RT and it was only really a select few outrage trolls whining about that film. With Minecraft though I could easily see it being hated by critics and fans alike.

I'm planning on seeing Sonic 3 in theaters myself, soooo excited for that one.
Maybe not the worst movie I've ever seen, but Slenderman: The Movie. It was ssssssssssooooooooo boring. I watched it a few months ago, and I don't remember any of the characters' names, under then Slenderman. Also, they seriously butchered the lore of Slenderman, and this is coming from someone who isn't all that into Slenderman as a character. The only good part in that damn movie is the scene where the girl's boyfriend started, to quote Nump, "shaking like a seizure." That part was at least unintentionally funny. Why couldn't the rest of the movie be unintentionally funny?

you know, the marble hornets series does a much better job at capturing slenderman tbh.

That was one of those movies that I knew was destined to suck as soon as I heard the announcement.

I mean, it did receive tons of hate when the teaser first came out, and it still has its (more than) fair share of people who genuinely didn’t like the movie, or think it sucked for reasons outside of the 4 women (jokes going on too long, bland villain, poor cgi, just to name a few of their complaints, I personally thought it was alright, not as bad as everyone said, but could have been much better tbh.)
But at least that one can be improved with some editing! The Minecraft movie would require a whole-ass rewrite-reshoot to occur to save it, but they’re already too far along to really do much.
This movie is doomed.

It's a movie based on a internet meme, those don't have the best track record.
Ngl, Fred: The Movie was a better movie then Slenderman.
Lil Bush. For those unaware, it was this stupid adult cartoon about George W. Bush and other politicians as kids in elementary school. It's painfully unfunny, has ugly character designs, stilted animation, bad voice acting, and some of the most in your face social commentary imaginable. Absolutely terrible.
