One of them have to be pre-2010s YouTube lost media. There's so few archives, or anyone downloading back then there's such a very small chance they'll be found.
I say this because of how i've been trying my best to find videos from 2005
YouTube Poops. I get it, you watched a video when you were 10 or 12 and it made you laugh. But most of these videos don't hold much value or seem worth hunting down.
Lost food. I don't know how they can even be considered lost media, and they're just not interesting in the slightest. Like, I know what's like to think discontinued food tasted good, but is it really a issue if you can't obtain some random Mario tie-in foods or something?
Here are some of mine: Disney lost media: On one hand, some of them DO sound interesting, but on the other hand it's Disney & to me, they usually never really make(or ever made) much media that I find interesting(The Owl House & Phineas And Ferb aside) compared to Cartoon Network. SpongeBob lost media: I mean, SpongeBob SquarePants is in itself a good show, but not one of my FAVORITES per se(Akazukin ChaCha, The Amazing World of Gumball, Uncle Grandpa, Mighty Max, Rocky And Bullwinkle & Space Cats are more of my liking), so when seeing lost media surrounding the sponge I usually am like, "Ehhh...". Some like The Humpback Hop & that pencil I kinda dig though. Plus Nickelodeon has already megamilked that sponge for all its worth, so lost media YouTubers kinda milking it as well just sounds so stupid IMO. Sports lost media: I am not a sports fanatic honestly. My dad is though.
I'm amazed that so far no one has opposed me on the SpongeBob lost media. I guess most people on this thread are sick of seeing him everywhere we go.
I'm a spongebob fan but most spongebob lost media is extremely boring to me. Only one that got my interest was A Day with Spongebob for its...unique to say the least backstory. With the only other one I find somewhat interesting being the lost alternate endings to Sheingheid (probably butchered the spelling but too lazy to look it up rn).
Once the day comes when a truly unique spongebob lost search comes I will be there, but there hasn't really been any, IMO, since A Day with Spongebob.
For me it depends, if the story behind the piece of lost media is truly interesting, mysterious, or funny, I will be really into it despite what kind of media it is. However most of the time I find myself not too interested in these types of lost media
1. Lost commercials, especially if they aren't too unique compared to similar commercials for the brand. List of exceptions I had: the lost religious subway commercial. 2. Lost bumpers, most bumpers just announce the next show and aren't too unique. The real interesting lost bumpers are the little shorts that used to air between shows, like the lost "cat news" bumper. 3. Lost pilots that have little-to-no difference to the final show. For example, Blue prints is basically Blues clues but Steve is wearing a different shirt. I'm more interested in pilots like Super Why's, Me and My Friends, and Jimmy Two Shoes because they're so different from the final product. It makes for an interesting mini history lesson on the evolution of their show's productions and an interesting case of "what could have been". 4. Most pilots for unaired shows unless they have an interesting story behind them. I love the Martin and Claudia pilot because of its mysterious story despite being an unaired show. Most other unaired show pilots aren't too interesting to me otherwise. 5. Most lostwave songs, which all have a trend of having similar backstories and sounds. At some point you have to wonder how real any of these songs are. It raises my eyebrow as someone who used to be a vaporwave fan. It makes me think the whole movement as a cheap repeat of the vaporwave trend but with a lost media ARG twist. Just makes me groan. Only exception being Evan Olsen's "So Much Better" from the reply all podcast. 6. NSFL stuff. No exceptions. Why would you even want to see that?
TLDR; Basically anything too plain or NSFL to truly warrant a search I find uninteresting.

For me, when it comes to pilots, I'm usually only interested in ones for animated shows due to how much it could change from pilot to final show due to it being in the animated format. Live-action pilots meanwhile tend to be less interesting since they tend to not have notable differences... that AND they don't have as many possibilities in storytelling compared to animation. The only live-action pilots I would really be into would be if the final product was animated, like what happened with Dutch cartoon The Bluffers. Failed animated pilots I would find interesting as well. Sure, some aren't all that much, but there are others like Toon Makers' Sailor Moon or The Soulmates In the Gift of Light that are odd & interesting. Personally, I just have a bias for animation.
Also, for lostwaves, some I'm not interested in, but others I find nice & want to see be identified. Plus, thing is that there are about 7 BILLION PEOPLE on this planet & many more that have died. You'd kinda have to realize how high the chances are of it not being identified until like, 2025 because it was incredibly obscure & forgotten about until it appeared as a lostwave song. Then again, that would sadly mean that it could very well never be truly identified because of the sheer amount of humans on Earth(or worse yet, fake bullcrap).
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

Well, I'm not really a SpongeBob fan myself(Akazukin ChaCha fan in the house!), & yeah I agree with you, A Day With SpongeBob really WAS the most unique lost media case for the little sponge. Afterwards, it kind of just became looking for a sea(pun intended) of finding some lost signs of Nickelodeon milking the sponge to its core, such as that Got Milk? ad. Meanwhile I'm waiting for some Akazukin ChaCha lost media to show up on these forums once again(I've talked about Creative Products' English dub as well as the supposed "5th season" that never went past some episode descriptions, but otherwise there doesn't seem to be much lost media, which surprises me because of how little we actually know about Akazukin ChaCha's development compared to even something like Ojamajo Doremi).

Not a fan of commercials or bumpers either. What’s sad is that people will dedicate all their time and effort into finding these, and searches for other things like lost film, video games and tv shows end up barely getting any attention. I’ve even seen people come in claiming that if something was never made public before, it doesn’t count as lost media.
Well I say Fuck That! So what if somethings never been released? If anything, those are usually the more interesting searches. I’m not saying people can’t be into commercials or bumpers, but when people really only ever dedicate their time to finding those 2 types of lost media specifically, I can see why people complain.
Don’t get me wrong, a commercial or 2 is nice here and there, but I’m not losing sleep if it were never found. Now, if the land before time deleted scenes were confirmed lost forever, then I ain’t sleeping beauty, I’m the hideous insomniac.
Speaking of the deleted scenes, I posted on that thread again, so feel free to check it out I guess.
No, they don't. Where have you been lately, tons of found movies and tv shows have been found recently in the meanwhile, isn't that enough for you? I fail to understand the hostility people have against commercials and bumpers, it's part of their childhood, they're attached to it and there's a reasonable chance for your average Joe to be able to find it in a vhs or something contrary to a movie tape in some archive somewhere only a professional with connections could get a glimpse of it, so attention goes where the demand is at. Good for them I say, found media is found media, and what keeps passion for that to happen is good enough for me, just as it should be for all non-tasteless (ie NSFL in regard to the pains of the victims) searches of all types, we should cherish them.
Lost sports media. While a lost Nascar race from 1970 maybe interesting to some lost media hunters it's not to me it's incredibly boring.
NASCAR in general is a very divisive sport. Some people don't even call it a sport or say that there's just an easy sport(even though it can be rather hard to sit through such long races, especially if it's in Talladega).
EmpLemon videos have sold me on what the appeal of NASCAR is.

Okay, I’ll admit I was a bit overly-harsh in my original post, but all I’m trying to say is that your average tom, dick or glaffy doesn’t need to try and uncover the original negatives for London after midnight or something, let alone actually be the one to find and release that kind of stuff to the public.
I should have pointed this out in my original post, but I wasn’t trying to convey the idea that every single person in this community needs to forget about commercials and bumpers, and stick to more significant pieces.
Besides, adding to my earlier point in a previous post, there’s still quite a bit the average joe can do, like researching, maybe contacting people (I wish I could do that myself, but the fear of somehow making things worse always lingers), it’s not like there’s absolutely nothing we can do.
Also, i hadn’t had internet for almost a week, so I’m afraid I haven’t heard of that much found movie media being found this year.
Anyways, I apologize for my original post, I’m not trying to like, start a fight or anything.
(honestly, after reading my first post again, it aged really poorly)

Thinking about it more, I am going to change my mind on number 2 and number 4. Bumpers because there are some really interesting lost bumpers out there that aren't in the mini short format. Such as the zombie nicktoon bumpers and Piper the possum. It's kinda like lost animation. Even if it advertises an upcoming show, its still a piece of animation history that's interesting to see. Pilots for unaired shows technically ALL have interesting stories. Sure I may not find watching every single one interesting, but that doesn't make the existence of each pilot uninteresting. Lostwave haven't fully changed my mind on, most lostwave stories I have interest in are ages old (Crimson and Clover being the biggest one), so I suppose I am not interested in modern lostwave? I am not sure, maybe I just need to find out more lostwave stories.

Rest I still stand by.
Yeah I like the bumpers with unique voice-acting from characters but they aren't a huge priority for me to find.
Most youtube videos, they don't have anything special. I can understand archiving from a famous youtuber, a video that has a lot of effort or some that have rare stuff in it, but others not so much

yeah I could not care less about Youtube poops, I hated them when they were popular so I don't get the nostalgia for them at all, I think they're better off not being found, I don't miss ear rape and unfunny nonsense.
