Hi, I'm a new user here and I've been interested in lost media since 2017. This thing that I'm looking for is something I've seen between 2003 and 2006 and it was a store bought vhs tape. It was a 2d animated movie from either the 80s or 90s which had a boy and a polar bear in the Artics.
I recall a scene where they were in a cave the polar bear picks up the boy and the boy starts hitting the bear and demanding him to put him down, but the bear ignores him as he walks out of the cave and I believe that the bear talked. The boy in my memory I believe kinda resembled Mowgli from Jungle Book.
I'm not sure what the name of this movie is, but like I said, this was a store bought vhs that I had long ago and I don't know what happened to it afterwards. If someone knows what this is, please let me know. Thank you and happy hunting! ๐

From what I remember is that there was only one bear and it was male. There was no mom and dad so I think that the boy was orphaned. Also, I think that they were on a journey or something. Let's see what the others on this forum think.

No, what I said earlier is all I remember. All the vhs tapes I had as a child were always out of there packaging boxes and stacked on a shelf. I don't what happened to them after, but they probably got thrown away or something.
Your "memory" is not real at all. It's just part of your dream. This is really upsetting because it reminds me of something: My very own "memories" I tried to search for a long time are nowhere to be found on the internet and using r/tomt wouldn't be any luck. The two most notable ones are "Phonics and Sounds for Kids" and "Sagan om Nรถtknรคpparen (The Tale of the Nutcracker)". I had to make those names up just to inform you. I wish they weren't so obscure.
