Jump scare ad from the 2000s(Very obscure)

You're not crazy, it was a real thing! I doubt it will be found as it was on TV Land who was playing an old show (not likely someone wanted to record an old show from the 50's or 60's unless there had been no home media release yet) and at the time it could have been at the point where you couldn't find blank VHS tapes in stores (at least not in the Western New York area). I wake up one morning which had to have been in the range of December of 2005-July (or maybe June or August) of 2009 due to where my family and I were living at the time, to my mom telling me that she and my sister were watching The Beverly Hillbillies (I do believe) on TV Land last night and it was hacked with a scary jump scare of normal ads then what seemed to be the beginning of an ad (the beginning of the jump scare which must have been the serene landscape you were talking about) which was cut to show a scary face that was screaming loudly then back to normal ads. It scared the poop out of them and I asked them about it after hearing about this lost media in two different YT videos and counting then Googled "tv land hack lost media wiki" to find this post and comment on it to validate it. They don't remember besides what I mentioned. Sometimes hacks (which I'm sure this was) only affect certain areas that have the affected channel as well as only (a) certain TV provider(s) so for reference we were living in Lockport, NY U.S.A. (which is in Niagara County) at the time and had DirecTV at the time. When we lived there, for a year or two my bedtime was 8 P.M. (Eastern Time) then for the rest of our stay was 9 P.M. (Eastern Time) so this happened sometime in the time frame mentioned after 8 P.M.-9 P.M. (Eastern Time).

I think what's unfortunate about this topic is that it's likely going to come down to finding a recording of that particular night or a jump scare from elsewhere that matches it exactly.

This is the opposite compared to something like the Oswald Ozzy Osbourne crossover. We originally didn't know when it aired, where it aired, or what kind of content was in it. But as more claims came forward, it gave us a better understanding of the topic.

In this case though, ckm2017 told us mostly everything we could need to know- what it looked like, where it aired and when it aired. The only thing that could help more is an exact date or a post from somewhere else online that was made before this one, to prove that it was remembered before now.

Yeah, that military one is clearly something specifically aimed at military personnel on a military channel. I don't think it's relevant (though I'd love to see it - might be on one of those YT channels which uploads stuff from AFN etc)

This definitely sounds more like a bump or a promo than a product commercial, especially if it only appeared for a short amount of time. Maybe TV Land ran a horror event or something?
