Interesting turn of events here. Madeleine Levesque, the producer of the show just messaged me today, and told me that she was never even aware that the show was broadcast on Treehouse TV. She stated it was originally produced for CBC and Radio Canada. Other than that, she told me she can't really provide much information.
If we were to check CBC records as well as archived Radio Canada airings, we might get some more information about the show. Interesting how show could have been broadcast on the radio.
From what I see after a search, it seems to have once aired on CBC Playground.
Radio Canada is the French version of the CBC. Radio being short for radiodiffusion, French for "broadcasting." It's not actually a station you listen to on the radio.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone's already brought these up elsewhere. I'm just sharing them here.
On lower resolution devices, sometimes the top navigation bar is fine, like this:
However, sometimes, even on the same device, the bar will render like this:
I don't enjoy the Shoutbox being a full-page-width bottom bar. Very easy to scroll on top of that by accident.
I'm not sure if you can even change this, but I feel the current Comments Log is basically useless for anyone that isn't a moderator. I used to use that page to see if someone left a comment sharing new information on something I was interested in. Now you'd have to click each individual comment to see what article they're posting on.
As private as they are prolific, Vancouver's Ocean Productions rarely does public appearances. So that's why it was a surprise to me that the company's Calgary outfit, Chinook Animation/Blue Water Studios, handed out an interview to local TV show Alberta Prime Time. The segment first aired in April 2011 and then on March 1, 2012, and was available to stream on the show's site until 2014. However, the video (the file of which I believe was named "VideoTB_030112.flv") has since been deleted. It appears this happened in early 2015 after Alberta Prime Time's website was merged with CTV 2's.
I've checked the show's Facebook and Twitter pages. Then heir YouTube account. I can't find any re-upload.
Similarly, I'm still looking for the episode of CBC's Maritime series Land & Sea that features Three Delivery.
The Xbox World Collection is a series of Japanese releases for the original Xbox published by Microsoft, featuring select overseas (American and European) titles, released at a reduced price compared to normal releases. Titles in this series retain their original overseas cover artwork with a "World Collection" border, and are left entirely in English, with a Japanese-language manual. The series was launched in October 2003, with regular releases every 2-3 months until August 2005.
The CRTC offers free television schedules dating back to August 1999. Help yourself: support.crtc.gc.ca/logs/
How exactly does this thing work?
The folders are listed by year and month. Click a folder to reveal the channel list. Scroll down to find documents listed as "Thtv" (Treehouse TV) and download the .zip files (there may be other file formats, but most of the older ones have compatibility issues now). Extract the .zip files and open it up with a text editor and CTRL+F "Dragon." See if you find Dragon Tales.
A quick look tells me the CRTC's Treehouse logs start in February 2000.
Beywheelz is a spinoff of the Beyblade franchise that was released exclusively in western markets in 2012. The series was announced at the New York Toyfair and at the event, Hasbro showcased a promotional video (you can see clips of it in the background here). Somehow, it wound up online. I distinctly remember it cutting live action footage of mountain biking and other events with character designs. This was the original link, but Hasbro issued a copyright strike and took it down.
If there's an independent Canadian show/movie you're looking for, it might be smart to rally up support for Encore+ to re-release it. They have a much larger backing than anything we can do.
I don't know what you guys are expecting to find there. There's nobody out there who miraculously has a stash of old media but hides it on the deep web in order to... to do what?
Escape copyright trolls who'll remove things without ever providing a legal option. Unlikely, yes, but not that much of a stretch.
Three Delivery is an animated series that aired on YTV in Canada and Nicktoons in the United States. The series was produced by The Collective in New York, with animation production done at the Miramichi, Canada studio FatKat. Three Delivery was a difficult project and FatKat shut down just a week after delivering the final episode to broadcasters in May 2009.
FatKat was featured in an episode of CBC's Land & Sea that initially aired on October 12, 2008. Called "New Brunswick Business," it detailed ... uh, businesses in New Brunswick that you wouldn't really expect a small part of Canada to be involved with. FatKat's segment was shot in early 2008 and followed the company just as they were finishing the first episode of Three Delivery. The episode was aired multiple times on CBC as well as its sister channels. It was even available officially on the channel's website, but that has long since been removed.
It won't be as dramatic as that British TV show that was rolling just as a game developer was getting kicked out of their office, but it could provide some insight into the mood of the company at the time. Then again, the show's only 22 minutes and they followed 3 separate companies, so it might just be a puff piece.
