Ps: sorry about my horrible english haha
That's amazing! Not only you have all of the episodes in your possesion (even if it's moldy, that's awesome!), i'm glad to see that someone from other country was searching for this obscure cartoon! Thanks a lot!!!!!! These words can't tell you how i'm happy right now!!! Thanks!!!
I have some tips for you about the tape:
1) There are some places that are specialized in converting VHS tapes into digital media (well, at least in Brazil) like .mp4 videos. Go check'em if you want or can! 2) If the VHS tape is very, very moldy, there are also places that are specialized in restoring VHS tapes. I think you can find these places (the one above too) on the internet or in your city.
Also, if you have any updates about the tape or the existence of the cartoon in Argentina (like if that guy from RaroVHS found the newspaper with the advertisement of if you could find something about it on Argentina) don't forget to post it here!! Thanks a lot!!!!
I contacted Cristian, from RaroVHS, and he indeed does have a really nice copy of the VHS tape in his possesion! He sent me a 5-second sample of its contents. The video quality is very good, the audio is a little bit fuzzy but spanish speakers can understand what is being said. In exchange for the full tape via Google Drive he asks for a small price.
I found another Lobo episode totally by random: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsm2aq86LZw you probably have already seen it, but just in case. Tried searching a little more, but I can't find anything ;__;

Don't assume it, send it regardless, you did the right thing and did your best. Also big shout out to that profile picture, these series rule.

Some days ago, I emailed WDR, an German TV broadcasting institution that aired Gulp on Germany, to see if they still have the episodes in their possesion. They have all the episodes in their archive! But they are not digitized yet, they are in 35mm film rolls. But according to they you can pay for the episodes to be digitized and sent to you i think.
So now we know that the original film rolls are still archived somewhere!

What is their asking price? Also, you know mail is a thing, you don't need to physically go to Austria I'm sure.

Use a USB VHS reader and a capture program to record the content, that should do the trick.

I just emailed them about the exact price. They said that in some days they are going to come with the awnser.
I am aware about mail, but i think it will be expensive to send it to there.

I'm actually working with her to digitize the tape, but she can't use her account here anymore, idk why. It is currently being cleaned (as it was indeed very moldy) in an specialized place, then it will be digitized. Maybe next week it will be ready.
