It's an old song from the 40s. It was famously sung by Leland Palmer in Twin Peaks. But I don't expect you to know what any of that means because your only experience in horror is shitty internet creepypastas that get worse and worse and more abstract and corny with every generation. You wanna write horror so bad, look at what the greats did. Horror writing, especially psychological horror, isn't just about saying something scary divorced from context. Lynch knows that more than anything. I think you'd find a lot to admire in his work.
