Hi everyone! Long time listener, first time caller. I’ve been interested in lost media for years. Huge fan of LSSQ, blameitonjorge, etc.
That being said, this is the first search that has interested me enough to join in myself!
But enough about me. Before the post above, one thing that I hadn’t really seen mentioned was Facebook. I think it could offer some unexpectedly big leads. The official Nickelodeon FB group posts several times a day, and has for years. The only problem is, I’m not sure how to view the posts from years and years back without continuously scrolling.
I also used multiple search terms to search public posts. “Nickelodeon zombies”, “fairly oddparents Halloween”, along with many variants of those. Didn’t come up with much besides a picture from October 2011 of someone in a zombie Spongebob costume at a festival, which could be a lead for how zombie Spongebob looked:

NICKELODEON ACKNOWLEDGED THE EXISTENCE OF THE SHORTS?? On Instagram the official Nickelodeon account posted some Cosmo and Wanda anatomy thing and I left a comment saying it looks like Nicktoons Gets Zombified and they replied. All that said was "definitely giving zombie vibes". Not much but I thought it was worth sharing
I don't think that was what they we're referring to at all...They just made a snarky little comment. I doubt anyone at Nick- Let alone the Instagram guy knows what the hell "Nicktoons Gets Zombified" even is lmao

But to be honest l have never seen a person managing to discuss lost media and getting big company attention so this is still a w in my book
One place I didn't think to look for was old Nicktoon Facebook groups. Sometimes they keep older videos and clips there that have been forgotten or just haven't been erased yet. I know it's how i found an old lost french clip from 2001 a while ago. Might take a look there later, but yeah i just thought it could be an idea at the point we're at, might as well look everywhere.

okay! ive been lurking on this thread since there was literally one reply, and i did a bunch of frantic googling tonight. one thing i've noticed about the direct video links (the ones that track back to media.mtvnservices.com).. it's like they're too short. if you simply google media.mtvnservices.com you can find embedded videos from other related sites that DO work. either way, all the videos have something in common. their links are way longer than the ones we have. where the wanda bumper's link ends in '1027538', other videos end in things like '3c34afe6-ed01-11e0-aca6-0026b9414f30' or '56eaf7fd-8b4a-4ebc-ba0d-cbe059339ae9'. i changed the link to 'http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgid:cms:video:nicktoons.com:1027538', and it loads the tab title like it wants to open the player, but nothing happens. these videos probably aren't hosted on the server at all anymore, sure. but anything is worth a shot.
if its worth anything, i also did some digging on facebook (checked 2011 and 2012, searched like 20 separate search terms, as well as nickelodeons page for certain terms) and couldnt find anything, as well as did some digging on google between october and december of 2011 and 2012. nothing. it's like everybody who was old enough to be posting on the internet conveniently looked away whenever nicktoons was playing.
"you're just as special as anyone else in this family."

i've scoured facebook and also found this bizarre lack of mentioning anything about it! i found lots of pictures of that guy's green spongebob costume though.

Almost seems like this was intentionally covered up. Whether by people intentionally trying to let it fade into obscurity because of its disturbing nature, or Nick themselves.

oddly enough, i found NO pictures of that guy's spongebob costume. found some ten nights of fright promo stuff but nothing at all relating to the bumpers.

Alright, just to satisfy everyone's questions about the SpongeBob bump, I recreated how I remembered it to the best of my ability. THIS IS A CONCEPT, THIS IS NOT A REAL SCREENSHOT. THIS IS JUST SO PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR EXACTLY.
An obscure creepypasta-sounding piece of lost media that Nickelodeon may or may not be intentionally hiding gains attention and is proven to exist 11 years after it first aired. It seems almost poetic that Zombified aired the same year that TeenNick re-aired Cry Baby Lane.

They're not hiding anything. It's an obscure seasonal bumper from 11 years ago. You're just paranoid.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."

That’s why I said “may or may not be”. Personally, I don’t actually think Nick’s intentionally trying to remove all traces of it, but the mysterious nature and creepiness of the bumpers leads to speculation and rumors that they COULD be, just like the mystery and rumors regarding Nick denying Cry Baby Lane’s existence until proof surfaced and they re-aired it.

agree. i think its unlikely nick tried to cover it up, but the search is so much more fun when theres like this creepypasta ish story and little trace of it. also, i've searched almost every combination of words that could describe the bumpers on facebook with the search limit on 2011 and nada. wacky.

I’m not sure how robust Facebook’s search is, but there might be different results if you try searching for the terms plus “site:facebook.com” in Google. I would try myself but I’m supposed to be working.
Editing to add another thought: Wayback Machine might have captures of defunct or deleted Facebook groups.

Do you remember if it was happening in front of their houses or in a Jellyfish field? i've heard somewhere they we're in a jellyfish field laughing maniacally
