Perfect Dark and Share are good for old VNs/eroge (and new ones too) but have almost no actual games, let alone really obscure ones. The only thing I ever found on Share that wasn't eroge related was 桃源紀行 and that wasn't really a game, but weirdly very expensive.
Yeah, I figured it would be mostly porn, but I felt like leaving such obvious stones un-turned would be unwise. Or in other words, I checked just to be safe, you know?

I found what seems to be a new mention of the game in a CD-ROM type game database. I have absolutely no idea what the site that hosts it is for, it looks like an old japanese video game enthusiast site or something.
I explored this database in depth and sorted the titles by those produced at the time by Nec Interchannel, and we still find Noah's Ark. I am now sure that it is well mentioned the one we are looking for. However, I didn't find in the database any mention of Proforce System, probably because, as mentioned before, it was a simple development studio.

I am too looking for an old PC japanese game and the lack of information there is boggling, I guess the Lost media scenario there is smaller or they just react different to lost media in general, as others said in this thread, they seen to have a bigger urge to "collect", to be the only one to have something rather than to search for it and distribute, to make sure it will never be lost again. I've talked with a japanese guy that has the game I'm looking for, he says it's a big thing there amongst collectors, that a lot of people wants to have but it is just not talked about. But that's off topic
I guess I can't help with the search rn as I'm occupied with other things but I hope the search turn out to have bigger leads in the future, good luck guys

A friend of mine bought just the CD I think (from 1996-02 issue?), so no magazine. People are looking into CDs of old magazines more, a demo of Roly Polys 2 (バナバナ1号) was also found recently. Unfortunately it doesn't really help the search at all. The lines in the trailer btw: タワーの建造者？何を言っているんだ！？ 人類には火星が必要なんだ！ その時、人類は新たな創生を目撃する 君はこの謎が解ける。

No way!! I didn't think that such GOOD quality media would come to light! That's awesome Edit: It's also the first time that ProForce is so clearly associated with the game

It's funny, I really wonder what the full story of the game is. It's called Noah's Ark, but there's a huge tower that reminds of the tower of Babel and a character that looks like a Babylonian/Mesopotamian warrior. The trailer is surprisingly rich in visuals, that's really cool
