I've mentioned these before but not on the forums, so I'll put them here in case anyone happens to come across them. There are two big ones I always remember, but I think the mystery has been solved for at least one of them.
The first one was the Fire version of Sonic Adventure DX, some kind of alternate cover I remember seeing as a kid that replaced the normal water Chaos with a fire one on the box art. I'm pretty sure I saw it in EB Games in the early 2000s but have never been able to find a piece of art that looks similar enough for me to believe it's what I saw. There are a bunch of theories that it was something the game store made itself, or it was artwork from a print ad that has an explosion to the side of Sonic. One scan of the ad is darker and does appear to form a figure if you squint hard enough, so I've accepted the idea that's what I saw, but I'm not completely sure and people have claimed to have seen the same image too so maybe there's something else out there.
The second one is something I've never seen anyone mention and is probably gone forever, it was a Naruto standee from Toys R Us in the mid 2000s right around the time the show got really popular. I can't remember why it was in the store or what it was advertising (I seem to remember something about the drink Hi-C being on it) but I've always wanted to find a picture of one or own one of them. I think I have a connection to it for the fact that I asked my dad if we could get it, but the employee said it had to be destroyed and I never saw it again. There's a lot of nostalgia and curiosity about it but I've tried looking and can't find anything about it.
Aside from those, I have a lot of lost videos people always ask me about that I probably don't have anymore and were mostly unimportant, but the only one that matters to me is the 100 subscriber thank you video from February 2012. I can't believe I ever got rid of that from my channel and couldn't find any copies in my files. There's a black flashdrive that's somewhere, and if I ever find where I put it, there's a chance it might be on there.
I forgot about this thread. I have other personal lost media I guess I can list.
1. A lot of photos of me as a kid. Don't get me wrong, I still have a pretty good selection, but a lot of them were outright lost in storage over the years. My aunt has copies I'm sure, but we don't talk so.
2. A picture of my great grandma from the 1930s. This was a really cool photo. She was wearing a big hat. Other relatives took it and we haven't seen it since 2007.
3. My grandma's recipe book. This one kills me. Same relatives took this book when we were originally going to sell her house in 2007.
4. Comic assignment I did. In 8th grade I made a big comic book full of vocab words for my language arts class. I didn't fully read the assignment and was only supposed to do a handful of the words but did all of them. My teacher asked to keep this book as an example and so I said "sure." Notably, on the cover, was an anime drawing of Ponyboy from The Outsiders. I bet it's hysterical to look at now.
5. Inuyasha Role-play Games MSN Group. I used to frequent this MSN group a lot and would unsuccessfully start a lot of OC role-plays. I then made a troll account and harassed the person who was Naraku by asking them dumb questions in the "ask characters a question" section. There was a lot of hilarious drama in this group.
6. Dub of various shows done by my friends and I. My friends and I used to do voice over dubs and they were bad. I had a Death Note one, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-doo, and Bobby's World.
7. Speaking of audio recordings, my dad got me a tape recorder as a kid and I used that thing constantly. I remember I would make fake radio station countdowns but sing all of these made up songs, and that my sister and I did an Oprah skit (I remember playing an audience member who yelled at Oprah to "sign her boobs" which made my older sister laugh).
8. Comics I made of an OC when I was 7 (though more like drawings on a page and me explaining what's happening), and then a soft reboot I did when I was 11, this one I really miss because I legitimately had put in a ton of work in this.
9. A comic I made about me and my two cousins. This had three issues surprisingly. One was a parody of the Zenon movie where she raced on the moon, except everyone was racing grocery carts. It was dumb.
10. I visited a news station when I was 8 with my class, and I guess it appeared on the news later with one friend saying they saw me. Idk if this can be found?? I never looked for it.

It was 2006. I didn't even like Inuyasha, I just wanted online friends lol.
Back when Millsberry announced they were shutting down in 2011, I panicked and decided to screen record myself exploring as much of the site as possible. I even played every game. I uploaded the footage to a custom YouTube channel called Memories of Millsberry. Decades later, I have lost access to the original recordings, and to the account login itself.
I have a lot of personal media, videos from when I was a teenager, youtube videos I created and so on, which are lost. I had an external hard drive I put them all on back in the 2010s but I left it at my parent's house and now I'm married and across the country, so unless they kept it there's a chance it's all gone.
It's not lost-lost but I collected a ton of Wii games growing up and decided during the pandemic to give them away to a friend. Now it's too awkward to ask for the games back, so I'm hoping my save information still works when I get the games again.

My flipnote hatena 'animations'
I wasnt like popular in flipnote but i was apart of some small communities, especially the sonic OC community a lot of people were super friendly and i used to make little doodles or stories with various collaborations.
but flipnote has shut down and i never managed to find my account on the sudomedia remake or whatever it's called because my name was so generic so they're probably all lost forever.

Not in any particular order: My Webkinz Jr. account from 2009 "Mandalay" with Orange Kitty named Garfield and Blue Puppy named Blue. Got locked out of it in 2010 and the site shut down with little warning in 2018. Video clips of games (including Webkinz Jr.) I filmed as a kid to keep myself entertained on the schoolbus; the SD card didn't have much storage so I just deleted older videos when I wanted to make new ones and never bothered to back them up. What I still had on the SD card I put on my YouTube channel A few months ago I saw a listing for 脳がすくすく! ふりふりねこちゃん on a Japanese site but I lost the auction and am still devastated about it Home videos, DS/Wii saves, DSi flipnotes, favourite stuffed animal that were at my dad's place when a fire happened almost a decade ago. I have a picture of the stuffed animal but reverse image search hasn't found one that looks the same... drive.google.com/file/d/19r2tkR2q9XN6BMQJsDV1EvEjC72tnfc9/view?usp=share_link Bootleg video of a play that the file got corrupted Classmate filmed part of a Miley Cyrus concert but decided not to keep the video because they thought it turned out bad TV show I watched (Ú Òa) that never got DVD release and company lost broadcast rights. Some episodes of the remake might still be accessible on VTV7 app In grade 4 (2009-2010 school year) my class made a blog but I think it was deleted after a someone invited someone who ended up spamming it Around the same time as the school blog a student wrote a comic about a bird and a squirrel hearing a news report about swine flu on the radio DVDs of the school plays (I asked alumni group about it but so far either they couldn't find any copies or haven't been able to digitise it)
I remember when I was REALLY young, I loved videos on christmas inflatables. So I made a review video on my 7ft Snowman inflatable, and posted it to youtube for my parents to view.
I also made a plush video with my Scout plush and some others. It was a plush school video, and I remember the principal was that one chocolate Shopkins plush I had, except they had a very aggressive and rowdy voice.
Both videos are gone forever now for some reason, as one day, they just vanished.
A lot of pictures and videos of our old pets seem to be lost to the sands of time. Apparently on my Grandmother's old phone, there was a video of her cat Sam (2003-2023) somehow opening her bedroom door from the outside. Our old cat Eddy (?-2016), there's little to no proof of his existence. There's an SD card in our house somewhere that I know for a fact has like the only existing video of him. Also, there's also some personal existence unconfirmed media of this. I just barely remember a video of my Grandmother's really old cat Annabelle (1998-2017) as a kitten, playing with her reflection in a mirror. There's a chance that it was just a video of another kitten I saw on the internet and I just confused it for Annabelle.
