This was a gym class song from the 2000s. It started and ended in C major, and modulated a lot. It was specifically composed for gym class exercise (i.e. not a pop song). The singer was a woman.
(song repeats a few times, except "walk" is changed to "skip", then to "leap", "gallop", etc., and finally back to "walk".)
Other details: * The movement styles in that song included walk, skip, gallop, leap, jog, walk again at the end
* The final line of the last verse was "until it turns into a sit, and that's it!"
* Gallop was D Major
* Leap was also D Major, I think
what country/US state/US non-state(not sure what to call them)/Canadian Provence do you live in? Depending on location I might be able to help, I was pre-high school grades(pre-k to whatever grade 8yos are in here in the US) so I think I might have heard it at some point during one of the PE classes though could be mistaken. Like I said I was in school during the 2000s(I'm 20 now and was born in 2002) so I might be able to pin point something more specific than what you previously described in this here and the various replies. Feel free to get back whenever, be glad to help
In addition to the 50 states, the United States also has 14 territories and one federal district. Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia are technically commonwealths, but that doesn't actually make a lick of difference.
If the song was in English, then it's most likely that OP is from an English speaking country or an overseas military base. He could also be from a UK county, Irish county, South African province, Australian state or territory, or New Zealand.
There's also a possibility he went to an international school, but that doesn't seem very likely to me.

That is why I am asking btw, there are more than 1 english speaking countries, simply showing 'the song is in english' really doesn't help narrow a potential tip down you know? Could be USA, could be the UK, who knows

When did you learn it? A lot of the songs children learnt in primary schools, or even pre-school, particularly in the 90s, were traditional, although this song doesn't sound like one of those. The theme is too specific for it to be a traditional Folk song. This sounds like one of those action songs, a song you would do certain actions to along with the music. It could even be one of those ones where people walked round the room in a circle while the music was playing, following the directions the song was giving them of course. I have asked someone who is avidly into his keyboard music, and who may know this as well, to contact me about this so i can ask him to see if he knows. I'll let you know if and what he responds.
His first question was pretty much already answered in the original post and the title, but hopefully this may help.
