Okay so Existence Uncomfirmed because according to a comment, they cancelled airing the special? I almost think if they were gonna air it on a few channels, then there had to be some form of production. Maybe it was only halfway done or something? Though part of me thinks if that was the case, they still would have aired it.
So far the only evidence is 2 old newspapers, not great, but we have gotten more with less (See: Crybaby Lane, RSK: BiS). I think it is possible but maybe an internet forum talking about this movie would be solid evidence of airing. I think a TV guide would be more ideal as well. This is an interesting hunt, I like the idea of this, I want to move forward with this.
Evidence for the existence of a completed film: - Original Studio: Wolf Tracer Productions continued to exist for at least 2 years after the completion of RSK:BiS, 2012 (Dinosaur Island was 2014) - Local Newspapers, complete with synopsis. - Advertisement at the end of RSK:BiS
Evidence against the existence of a completed film: - Likely cancellation due to low quality and a fly-by-night company
Neutral Facts: - Dinosaur Island had a planned, but cancelled, sequel.
I am convinced that this exists in some capacity. At the very least there has to be a script.

I definitely think a script exists, if not storyboards or in the very least concept art. Maybe even animation tests, if it wasn't totally animated already. But yeah looking at old internet forums isn't a bad start, maybe even looking at ones talking about the Christmas special and seeing if the Easter spinoff got brought up at all.

Having trouble finding the original tweets, but Kennedy Rose, the daughter of the "J Rose" in J Rose Productions made a series of tweets back in 2016 about the production of the original Rapsittie Street Kids. She does talk briefly about A Bunny's Tale, saying it was "planned for Spring of 2003" but she never talks about the fate of that project. I suppose you could add that to "Neutral Facts"

Oh yeah I remember she said some stuff awhile back. I'm pretty sure they're in the rebeltaxi video about the Christmas special so if we need a point of reference for them, we can always look there.
Hmm, I have to wonder if it was made if she would have outright said so, but it might not have been relevant to her tweet thread at the time, so maybe that's why she didn't delve too deep into it.
So this site talks about both specials but only the xmas one at length (hearing them compared to the Peanuts is hysterical), but I guess the xmas special was supposed to air twice. I'm guessing it only aired in November and then never again? If we are to believe that this special ruined the chances of the second one existing, I'd say that's enough time to cancel an animated (albeit poorly) project. At the end of the xmas special we get a preview of the Easter one, which is only a title over the end image. But I really remember there being a picture of the characters in bunny ears? Like something that was obviously concept art?
According to JR Horsting, who worked at Wolf Tracer Studios, Colin Slater is dead. Given that he was the one who gave the footage of Believe in Santa to the LMW, it could complicate efforts to find the sequel. I have no idea where any of Slater's materials would've wound up, especially since I can't find any independent account of his death.
Given that A Bunny's Tale was supposed to air only a few months after Believe in Santa, it doesn't seem that unlikely to me that networks picked up both specials at the same time, especially since Kennedy Rose referred to the special as "scheduled to air." This could explain why A Bunny's Tale appeared in TV guides even if it was never aired. I'm not sure how long either special took to make, but given the poor quality of the animation it might've taken only a few months (although a counterargument could be that they were hampered by their poor choice of animation software, so maybe it did take the regular amount of time), so maybe A Bunny's Tale was only just starting production in December, although I presume that voice work and writing had already started and may exist.
co made a good point that it seems unlikely that Wolf Tracer were worried about quality, especially since they made Dinosaur Island later which did not improve on the animation at all. However, Believe in Santa was produced by J. Rose Productions, and if Kennedy Rose is anyone to go by, they were appalled at how low-quality Believe in Santa was. It seems likely then that they could've backed out and forced Wolf Tracer to scrap A Bunny's Tale. However, this could explain why Rose didn't say much about A Bunny's Tale, since by the time Easter rolled around J. Rose and Wolf Tracer Studios may have long since parted. Thus this could eliminate the main evidence against A Bunny's Tale being aired. The main evidence against A Bunny's Tale being aired is that no one seems to have talked about it when it aired, but that could just be because it was not aired on as many stations, as indicated by how few newspapers mention it in their TV listings when compared to Believe in Santa. On the other hand, this could've
When I started writing this comment, I thought that A Bunny's Tale probably didn't air, but now I'm not so sure, since pretty much every piece of evidence on it could be interpreted against it or for it. J. R. Horsting or someone else high up at Wolf Tracer would probably know, so perhaps we could ask them? Horsting's still active on Twitter.
Oh wow I had no idea he died. Also couldn't hurt to ask, it would give us more clarity.
Lowkey I'm wondering if they blamed the failure on the characters and that's why they stopped making Rapsitie Street Kids stuff, because it's weird they didn't re-use the characters for any other projects. Especially since it would save time because they could re-use the models.
¨The movie was going to get an Easter-themed sequel. During the end credits, Lenee's little sister says, "Don't forget to see me in The Bunny's Tale!" but due to the movie's poor reception, it got canceled.¨

Does Awful Movies Wiki have a source? I'll be honest I've never heard of the last part, I've only seen the sequel title superimposed over the last shot, and I "think" random concept art of them in bunny ears. I don't doubt it was cancelled, but I wanna know where this nugget of info came from, because if it's an unverified source then it's not something we can really accredit to it not existing.
Edit: Just watched credits and I hear from Jenna saying she'll be back in Easter Bunny. Also it wasn't the final shot, it was concept art? I wonder if I somehow made up an image in my head that they were wearing bunny ears.
So I just checked Awful Movies wiki and the only external link provided is the IMDB page, which upon looking doesn't even mention A Bunny's Tale. I seriously think this was a rumor started while the reviewers kept reviewing this movie and more or less implied this. I'm not saying it wasn't cancelled due to bad quality, because that is a realistic leap in logic, but we don't have proof that's the case. I mean, even if it was canned it could have been due to other number of things.
Edit: Okay so the last bit of trivia was about the Easter spinoff and they more or less recite the same reasons. Regardless of it being there, I just don't think that's proof enough. Anyone can add trivia and there is no source cited as to where this info came from (unlike the other facts that bring up the interview).

Well, it sounds like old Colin passed away, but maybe the animation studio has a copy if it exists? I am convinced that there is SOMETHING out there with this, be it a script or a finished product
Even though this thread is only two pages long, it's gotta be one of my favorites in recent memory. I remember finding the article years ago but never pursuing it since the implication is that it was canceled and never made. Now that we have evidence and reason to believe some content might exist I'd like to get it found as well.
I've actually never seen those newspaper listings before so that alone is pretty great to have archived. I think maybe contacting some Wolf Tracer crew would be doable? This seems like it's totally attainable but I know Dycaite had a lot of trouble before with getting Believe in Santa found.
