What is one thing you hate about lost media hunting?

I can relate to that, albeit I'm also one of those types of people at the same time.

Oh yeah, a lot of that stuff. This is probably why there's currently no article on Satellite City, because there's too little information regarding the show out there. Oh, & there's also barely any information on stuff such as Raz, Blitz Game, & Outpost on the internet, so there's those.

A notorious outcome for so many cartridge-based video games.
The only way to preserve the game & spread awareness is through ROM dumps, 
but collectors want to let them rot on shelves in their collections
until someone's willing to pay an obscene amount of money for them.

I did experience that in the very early 2000s with anime, before streaming digital fansubs on browsers was a thing. I also had to buy a region-free DVD player.

While not lost, & I did manage to find a terrible digital quality VHS rip, I want to know why Sony absolutely refuses to release SING (1989) on DVD. We even had a few petitions go ignored. The soundtrack CD has only covers from the movie with different singers. The VHS went for nearly $80 on Amazon before becoming completely unavailable. It will become eventually lost someday, & it annoys me.

Quite frankly I was never aware of the lost political speeches until they were already found. That might have been while I was on my break from LMW. Otherwise, I had absolutely no idea that this particular search even happened.

Heck, I'm a mid-2000s kid, & I'm more interested in the past honestly. I really like to know what the past was like, & looking for lost media from back in those days is something that fits the criteria of learning about the past. In fact, most stuff I'm looking for comes from the 1980s, & ESPECIALLY the 1990s(my absolute favorite decade for when it comes to animation, & video games). I especially like stuff like:
Space Cats: A 1991 cartoon series created by Paul Fusco(of ALF fame) that aired on NBC's last ever lineup of Saturday Morning cartoons before they stopped altogether by 1992. I'm not even sure if NBC even aired the whole series as judging by the amount of episode titles we have, & the 2 unidentified episodes, there might be episodes that only aired either through reruns in the mid, or late 1990s, or foreign airings.
RSD Game-Maker: An MS-DOS engine by Recreational Software Designs first released in 1991, & has been used by a couple of users throughout mostly the 1990s.
Shove It!: A cancelled Atari 2600 game that CBS Electronics planned to release at one point, or at least according to the supposed programmer Bob Curtiss.
Zerox: A puzzle game for the Commodore 64 made sometime around 1993. No information about it exists online, only a demo of it exists, & nobody even knows how to play it.
Satellite City: A late 1980s British cartoon about a bunch of weather characters fighting against pollution characters. Looks far more intense than what it could've been.

Ok, but the 2000's were awesome though.

The internet was at it peak during the years 2000~2009 so it's understandable that that someone would want to find epic videos from that era.
