I recently rewatched the original Day of the Dead for the first time in a very long while and I think that movie is still one of the greatest zombie flicks of all time.
I would talk about Elemental (since I saw that on Thursday) but since not everyone have seen it yet I am gonna talk about the movie I saw before that would be FireHeart on Hulu!
But first before I state my thoughts here is a quick synopsis (got it from google cause I am awful at explaining it without spoilers):In New York City in 1932, women are not allowed to be firefighters. When the city's firemen disappear in mysterious fires, Georgia Nolan sees a golden opportunity. She disguises herself as Joe and joins a team of improvised firemen.
Thoughts: Honestly a bit formulaic but honestly it was quite wholesome! Sure the writing could of been a bit better but honestly it was a fun time!

I love Fireheart! Animated historical films are right up my alley.
Last movie I saw was The Pope's Exorcist and I was disappointed. It was too corny for the subject matter.
He cut his trail of tears across the countryside And where he went, women wept and men died One night he woke from a vision of his own death Saddled his pony and rode her deep into the West
The Muppet Movie (1979), I wasn't really big on The Muppets before and only watched the movie because I was bored one day but came out liking it and only disliking the fact that it was an hour and thirty minutes long because I really wanted to see more.
Really liked the dynamic between Kermit and Fozzie and the little romance story between Kermit and Miss Piggy, and especially liked the music which led me to purchase two songs on Itunes (being Movin' Right Along and Rainbow Connection from The Green Album).
I was bored so I decided to watch The Archies in JugMan.
I thought it was enjoyable, tho sort of predictable if you are familiar with Saturday Morning cartoon tropes. My biggest criticism is the voice acting on the caveman got annoying after a while.
I rewatched SCOOB. I remember disliking it when it first came out, but I couldn’t remember why. Yeah it was as bad as I remembered.
I thought it was pretty good personally and I wish it had gone to theaters and I hope Holiday Haunt leaks like that Krypto movie did.
I rewatched "Holes" for the first time since I was a kid and it still holds up pretty well, Jon Voight comes off as even more credible as a villain now that we know he's a vile piece of shit in real life as well. Still one of Shia's best performances, I really miss these kinds of mid-budget live-action Disney movies that weren't afraid to be a little different.

Did you know holes was originally going to be an R-rated movie apparently.

Yeah I saw that Rebeltaxi video on the original script.

I haven't seen it yet but my last roommate claimed that she didn't like it because she felt it was trying to push a Hanna Barbera multiverse moreso than tell a Scooby Doo story?
The last film I saw was the obscure anime movie Lonely Castle (https://gkids.com/films/lonely-castle-in-the-mirror/). I think the director has more of a following in Japan/East Asia, where he has directed multiple Shin-chan and Doraemon movies and apparently the last movie officially released for the Heisei era (?) Overall, I enjoyed it-while it definitely is not up there with other more well-known anime movies, I thought the overall themes and characters and "feel" of the movie were intriguing enough. I just liked watching the characters hang out, and try to figure out why they were all there.
