I have just read the whole thread and it was fascinating. I know that it might sound obvious, but it makes you think what other obscure movies from that AFI movie catalog are currently in the same situation as "Penis" was.

Exactly
I don't have any statistics to back up my claim, but I could bet that 30% or 40% of that catalogue is not accessible or digitized in any way. On the other hand, as an example of a lost film from this era (though not mentioned by the AFI), the much-sought "Him" is still lost, though there is a slight probability a trailer or part of the movie could be in the archives of the Kinsey Institute...Anyway, just the thought of the amount of lost movies is something unfathomable.

The nature of the movie makes me very sussy about it's existence. It seems like a joke or rumor passed around as a real movie. If it was real, it must not have even been out in public, and only a few copies must have been made to pass around to friends or something. Maybe it's some sort of inside joke?

You clearly didn't read the entire thread did you?
''Porn'' isn't a curse word, You don't have to censor it.
In case if anyone is offended by the word it's fine to censor like this ''P***'' or this ''P*rn'', but then again, It's not a curse word, so it's not vulgar in anyway.

A lot of people in the US are weirdly uncomfortable with porn, erotic stories or sex, no offense to the person you're responding to. While that's their right, I think it is wrong that violence, swearing and drugs in media are all a-okay (not that Im against those either) but the act of lovemaking causes many to freak out. I think it's just a cultural remnant of our founding by a bunch of puritans.
I don't normally post here; I just wanted to say that reading this thread was an incredible journey and I am at a complete loss for words. Thank you so much for taking me on this ride. Good job, everyone who helped find this missing Penis.

That last sentence made me unintentionally burst out laughing because of the phrasing. Lol 😳😂
