So remember when Cartoon Network had a partnership with Subway and they released a line of Time Squad toys? The toys are rare now. The commercial is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY RARE and there are no recordings of it.

Edit: As of 2021, maybe the Powerpuff Girls only got one, but Time Squad's commercial's existence is unconfirmed at this point, it might have never been made? We may never know!

Just for clarification, the toys certainly exist. You can easily find pictures of them on the web.

Yeah I looked it up and found them after I replied (mostly just Ottos for some reason). I would like to know more about this possible commercial however, I just found the Powerpuff Girl one so I don't find it too hard to believe that they also might have made one for Time Squad.

It's hard to make out what they are exactly due to the bags, I'm guessing Otto was most popular because he's the only character from the show that got a toy from what I can tell. Tuddrussle and Larry aren't toys I think? There's one listed as "Otto's relative" and I find that strange??

Also just found Sheep in the Big City Subway toys which is also exciting. I'm wondering if any of these toys other than the Powerpuff Girls got any promotion from Subway. But could there possibly be a Cartoon Network promo talking about it? Or maybe just one Subway commercial that just talks about Cartoon Network? I mean I'm not ruling out Time Squad or Sheep in the Big City getting commercials, I'm just thinking there was probably some kind of promotion for the deal overall.

Edit: I just re-read that message board and the link I provided and Larry and Tudrussle are there, but I think only as stickers on the toys.

For what it’s worth, I think most CN shows had promotions at Subway around this time. I watched CN religiously at the time and I was unaware that most of these promotions happened until I stumbled upon it later in life. I don’t think they were advertised other than PPG.

Yeah I also found the Johnny Bravo toys, and if Johnny Bravo didn't get a commercial then I highly doubt Time Squad did. But I'm gonna keep looking into it because it's neat, I'd like to just know more about the Subway Cartoon Network promotion in general

It sort of reminds me of how a commercial for some Megas XLR and Powerpuff Girls Jollibee toys was lost for YEARS until someone uploaded it on YouTube a few months back.

I can only imagine that if it did exist, Subway would have mentioned it somewhere on their old website. I don’t know for sure, because searching for commercials is new territory for me. But I would start with checking the wayback machine.
