So I just contacted NAMCO to see if they wanted to say anything, and I just tried to contact the person who posted this pic to see if they took the pic and where they did to see if its still there.

So I contacted Rodney, here's his response
Dear Benny,
Thanks for writing and thanks for being a fan of my game character designs. I really appreciate it. The Um Jammer Lammy Now arcade console was designed and built by Namco, the big arcade company in Japan. It wasn’t popular, and was removed from arcades shortly after it was installed. I do not know what happened to the units.
What is LMW?
So sadly we didn't really learn anything, but I guess that we learned that they removed them because they weren't very popular, so I guess the hunt will be very very slow.
Footage of the arcade cabinet has been found: youtu.be/2LQeyVMHa8c?t=39m17s I realised that the arcade was probably at tgs '99, and found this video, credits to CARAMBA (SuicuneWifi) from the ptr2 discord for actually going through the video and finding the footage.

I am a Japanese and are gathering information on old arcade games as a hobby. When I was investigating about Um Jammer Lammy: NOW! (Arcade), I came here. For that reason, I am reading and writing in WEB translation. If there are some mistakes in English, I'd like to apologize.
I have been doing some retro game centers in Japan, I have not seen any information on which Um Jammer Lammy NOW! is running. It was around 12 years ago to see the last time it was running at the game center. Many people are looking for it in Japan, but there are opinions that "It may not exist in Japan anymore".
If you find Um Jammer Lammy NOW!, I'm thinking of buying it. I will tell you much if I need Japanese information. Let me help you together.

Wow, I never expected the LMW to spread over to Japan. It might exist in Sony's internal archive as a machine or ROM, so there's a glimmer of hope there.

Sorry I have never responded, so this search has not been very active lately. But a while back we have found all the old locations of the old machines. We have a discord server located here: discord.gg/R4yChM . Once again, it's kind of dead, but I think I shall soon compile a list of everything we know. To get in better contact with me, add me on discord, my username is BennySpaceCore#8783 . If you do not yet have discord please visit, discordapp.com/ . I am quite determined to get this search back up again, and I have a plan, please try to contact me as soon as possible on discord.
All of this new information is absolutely awesome, thank you so much to everyone that hasn't let this topic die, I really hope we can find more information! I can offer to translate a bit, but I'm not a native Japanese speaker so I'll try my best. I joined the discord server with the same username as LMW. よこそう konamilkさん!私は日本語のべんきょうします。がんばってね〜!
The video "Tokyo Game Show 99秋 and AM Show" seems to be dubbed over in Chinese (though I'm not totally sure, that's what it sounds like to me). If we can find this video footage in Japanese, I'd be happy to try to translate/sub it. Perhaps there is something said about Um Jammer Lammy Now too?
