Hi everyone; I'm new here but have been lurking on and off for a while. I have a tumblr page dedicated to compiling what little information exists about Chris. There are some great resources on there and it's all in one place. I took the time to re-type the police report and article by Sally Quinn as well - the PDFs originally uploaded to the internet were difficult to read. I can't really explain why I have such an interest in this person/event, but it's definitely lived rent-free in my head since 2021.
I also want to note that I don't have any interest in finding or viewing the suicide tape. I think bothering Greg or family/friends of Chris about the tape is absolutely gross and immoral. I do, however, want to see footage of Chris doing her regular broadcast. I know that Steve Newman doesn't want to release his own footage of Chris, and though I disagree with his decision, I believe it isn't my place or anyone else's to bother him about releasing it. The proper thing to do is respect his decision. So I guess what I'm saying is that the lost media I'm actually interested in is Chris doing normal interviews/content on her show.
Taoesignal, the rules are no contacting bereaved family members and no links to NSFL. Don’t listen to this kid, she’s trolling hard.
First off i'm a dude genius, secondly i'm an adult, thirdly you are in fact the one trolling fool.
Also you misspelled the new user's name, it's tapesignal not "taosignal" LOL fail!
You’ve been reported to the mods for harassment. I’m done responding to you. I will continue to correct you for quoting a rule that doesn’t exist if it happens on threads I’m following. Otherwise, hopefully the mods will handle you. Have a nice day young lady.
Here is the code of conduct as posted by moderator thecarbonfreeze.
“ A code of conduct has been discussed on the Christine Chubbuck thread but nobody is going to see that unless they click on a very specific page out of a 40-page dialogue. I feel we ought to post these expectations in a separate, easy-to-find thread so that newcomers understand what's expected when dealing with NSFW/NSFL topics. It's not fair to enforce rules which some may be genuinely ignorant of.
The two that came up specifically are:
1. No contacting the bereaved survivors of NSFL content. Don't ask them to identify a picture or recording, don't ask them to share footage they probably don't even have, let them come to us or another outlet of their own volition if they even want to come forward at all. They deserve the right of privacy and empathy.
2. No links to NSFL content on the forums.
Besides these specific guidelines, we can add the general rule of "don't be a jerk to other forum members." We are here to discuss things, and any behavior which intentionally impedes this flow of ideas is not conducive to a good community. That means don't insult each other personally or troll or spam/brigade.
If there are to be any other rules set down in the future, they should arise from an organic need of the posters themselves. IE a new problem presents itself that requires a new guideline to rectify so that discussion may continue in a respectful, productive manner.”

looks like we can add misgendering to your list of offenses(which i'm reporting you for)didn't know you were a bigot as well, good to know, I will continue to call you out on your bullshit lies and creepy attitude towards NSFL media.
Well, on a more positive note, I would like to share a photo of Chris that I restored and colorized a while back. It's on the tumblr page as well. Last year I started practicing photo restoration, and this was one of the first on my to-do list. I wanted to do this picture because, aside from basically three pictures and a newspaper article, there is nothing left of her in the public consciousness. I'm sure a lot of people think that's "for the better" or whatever because of the nature of what she did and because of how long ago it was (and maybe it is, but that isn't for me to say one way or the other). But I just find it sad, knowing she sought connection with people in life. She was denied that and is also denied that posthumously as well. That's just my view, anyways.
