I have loads of theories about this, one theory I have is that the Molly variant only appeared on the YTV prints of the episodes, another theory I have is that the said variant appeared when the show was syndicated in the USA when the show was on PBS and other public access stations, or maybe the molly variant still exists in the Amazon Prime, Vudu, and Tubi prints of the show and the VHS releases of the show released by Time-Life Video! I don't know if Bob Stutt remembers performing Molly when filming the variant, but still...

I’m from Canada and I distinctly remember it. Like I’ve stated before, Molly popped up in the corner with a jumping motion like she was filmed on a green screen and then layed overtop the logo. Since I’m in Canada that would narrow it down to a YTV or Treehouse print. None of the YouTube episodes have it, I’ve checked multiple times.

I do know that the episodes that I used to watch on Treehouse plastered the YTV logo with one that had the Corus byline. It's possible they replaced the Rad Sheep logo on the same episode, since the Corus byline episodes probably started appearing in 1999, right before Radical Sheep updated their logo to the one seen on "Land O'Hands".
Another thing I was thinking was maybe searching to see how far back there are discussions or references to the Molly logo. That might reveal more information. I know a couple threads were on CLG Wiki but those were fairly recent.

Throughout my childhood, I have watched a lot of Big Comfy Couch. I could tell you guys that I do not remember there being a 'Molly Variant' when it was still airing on Treehouse within 2007-2011. (times I remember watching the show) For me personally, I always heard the logo music, but I am not sure if I ever heard a silent variant before and this comes from the episodes I watched a long time ago. Although, silent variants do exist, judging from this video which will be linked below.
BUT I remember throughout 2013-2014, Big Comfy Couch was shown in Rogers/Treehouse On Demand. When I watched the episodes, I don't remember the Molly variant being shown, unfortunately. I clearly remember all the episodes that were On Demand are from S1-S3. I know for sure that the logos were not plastered and they had the original logos.
I know one of you said that you remember it being on a YTV or Treehouse print. Well, the video below includes Treehouse prints of the closing logos, hope some of you can recognize or refresh your memories from these.
