What is your main problem with the Lost Media community?

People thinking that they can start there awful creepypastas and troll on here. At least once a week someone post something like "I saw a Paw Patrol episode where Marshall suddenly got bleeding eyes and went to hell. Was this a HACK?" First off, television hacks are extremely rare and don't happen hardly ever happen, the odds of only you seeing a undocumented television hack or broadcast intrusion are next too none, so posting "was this a hack?" already makes me question you. Secondly, when the media in question does sound a little more legit then this, and you are found to be lying you just wasted everyone's time and no one thinks you're funny.

I guess this is more of a problem with me specifically: Despite being a "veteran" here, I feel like whatever lost media I speak about either around here or on the wiki itself, either they don't get attention or the people who give it attention are those that probably will end up spreading some bit of misinformation as a result of not being part of the weird communities I'm in. Mostly the former happens & it makes me wonder what my real status is here. Like, am I not considered "trustworthy" enough yet? As in, someone who can't really be trusted by most users? If so, I won't be surprised.

I feel like my username could be a particular reason because without the proper context(yes there's lore) as to what it means, it can sound like the name of one of those fake anti-piracy/hijacking video makers you'd find on YouTube(I have a YouTube channel, but I don't post such things) & thus can scare off some people or think "this sounds fake, let's get outta here". It could also be because what I talk about just isn't interesting to a lot of people. I feel the only reason the Atari 2600 Tarzan game got as much attention as it did was because the Tarzan novel got a Disney movie. Meanwhile stuff that I feel is much more interesting to me like the West German video game console, the Interton VC4000 & its clones or the mysterious Atari ST game Lasertrain are usually not replied to because European video games just don't intrigue much people here as say Japanese or American video games, with the latter being because that like, 70% of users here are American I assume, including me.

Not necessarily with the community itself, though getting help finding lost media seems to be a lot harder than it actually is.

People judging those with niche interests (like commercials or logos, which are harmless) Also those the NSFL searches which shouldn't have been on here years ago until now.

Neglecting other searches in favor of newer ones. Like, when was the last time that someone tried to find some cases like Kirby's phone number recordings (yes, that's real) or Kid Kirby? That's the thing. These cases have been stagnant because the majority neglected those cases for new ones, such as Me and My Friends. So, we should stop neglecting other cases in favor of new ones, because we are the Lost Media Wiki, after all. We're supposed to find as much as we can.
