Disney+ is slated to have multiple channels join their platform soon, so I wanted to know your opinions on this change? Do you think that this strategy could or will be adopted by Warner Bros Discovery with Max and Paramount with Paramount+?
I would much rather have the option to create playlists, to have the ability to make something akin to a Saturday morning cartoon lineup rather than having something like a 24/7 Marvel or Star Wars channel.
That or they should just do a channel that's similar to that.

Yeah,I also think they should try doing what Pluto TV (just tubi but with channels by Paramount featuring their stuff) did with Comedy Central and making versions of their preexisting channels and blocks for Disney +

The reason why they are doing this is because a lot of the novelty of Disney+ has worn off. So Disney is going to merge their streaming services together to give people more options to watch. In non-US countries, Hulu shows are already placed on Disney+, like Family Guy.
I don’t have much opinion on this outside of not trusting Disney. They obviously are choosing quantity over quality just to squeeze money out of people.

When was Disney + projected to actually make a profit? I heard it was hecka expensive to set up, but the hope was that it would make back its money and then some....someday???
Also, heard rumors Disney was considering buying Tubi at some point? I actually am a "sometimes" Tubi watcher, so I was pretty surprised to hear that. And even more surprised to hear that it was rejected (if true).
It's just kind of a weird idea to me. Isn't that basically just....cable again?
Nah because they're not getting rid of the whole 'you can also watch whatever you want' thing and FAST (that is free ad-supported streaming television) services like Tubi and Pluto TV have proven to be popular (Tubi, the Roku Channel, and Pluto TV are all in the top 10 most used streaming services in the US).
Because while being able to watch whatever you want whenever you feel like it is great, it turns out that choice paralysis is a thing and sometimes people don't want to have to find and choose something specific to watch, they just wanna do the equivalent of channel surfing and find something that grabs their attention to watch or either have on in the background.
Between this & other streaming services introducing ads we pretty much are just entering cable part deux. ...It's easier to just look for downloads if I want to watch a specific show, to be honest.
It makes sense considering they now have MA rated content like those Marvel Netflix shows on there so separating into their own channels would make it easier for people whinging about that sort of thing, and that's basically already what Disney does overseas with Star or whatever it's called.
Honestly if Max was to do it (since If WarnerDiscovery should do it was a topic in the op Though I could be misremembering) give CN,Adult Swim,Toonami (though licensing could make it difficult),Cartoonito and whatever that new block is that airs reruns of old “Cartoon Cartoons” their own channels.
