Recently on the Beating a dead horse thread, Darkage6 linked a video to an obviously fake trailer to Shrek 5 that, to my knowledge, was made as a "conceptual trailer" by the uploader to wonder what the movie's plot could be & honestly it's likely a better plot than what the actual movie's plot could end up being(though he eventually did say that it was a mistake & sent in a link to an actual confirmation for Shrek 5):

So I decided to look up some OTHER fake movie trailers & some of these are kinda wild, with some looking so fake that they become laughfests:

This was an infamous one and I heard that some kids back in the day thought it was real. And now that the real Inside Out 2 is coming out, it makes it sort of a funny thing to look back on.

I also remember being sort of fooled by this one before more concept art for Encanto was released. At the time all we knew was that it took place in South America and was about a magical family. Apparently the clips are taken from a film called Kayara.

I love the sheer absurdity of this trailer. It's like if they decided to make a somehow darker movie than 3(which was already very dark to begin with).
