So, I actually know about the original plot to Flushed Away. It was originally called Ratropolis and that's the biggest difference. The core plot didn't change that much, just minor stuff.
Ratropolis is also the name of the film in some non-English territories. Also, why aren't you shooting this down?
I wasn't shooting down ether. I do think there lost cut scenes from Megamind and Flushed Away, I just don't think there's a "Lost Cut" of Megamind. I this case, I was just telling people in this thread that the original version isn't that different.

I mean, seeing as entire characters were cut, and others (the singing slugs, who were originally intended as One-Scene Wonders) having a ton of scenes reshot to give them a bigger role, I’d say this original cut of Flushed Away is different enough to be considered, well, an “original cut”, and therefore, pretty different.
In hindsight, I think you had a good point with Megamind, but with that mistake aside, I still think we should try finding the deleted scenes/early test-screener cuts of both films, in the case of the latter just because I’d love to see what the other deleted scenes have to offer, and in this case just because I want another film search to happen, since I tried starting my own (The Land Before Time: Deleted Scenes), but that didn’t gain much traction and died after a while, so I didn’t want these other threads to experience the same really.

But that aside, thanks for correcting us anyway.
Wouldn't it be great if the people who worked on Flushed Away also had some involvement with Megamind, and could provide info for both? I personally wouldn't know how to contact them, but the Vimeo links I provided to the demo reels had some full names attached to them. I wouldn't know the process involved, nor do I have any social media accounts.

There are some animators who worked on both films.

Currently, there are several screeners listed on Ebay. Listing for one of them I have no idea if screeners contain deleted scenes, but it could be something.

As someone who loved Megamind and Flushed Away when I was younger and probably watched these films a hundred times that would be kinda a dream come true for me. On the topic of the current search I don’t remember seeing these characters on the Flushed Away DVD I had, I just only remember seeing Roddy’s ass of a brother in the house.
