the full Hazbin Hotel series, but to be honest when I watched it I was really going into it with an open mind I was a bit sick of seeing all the rabid hate for it by the time I'd decided to watch it. I wish it got to be longer, I feel like it really suffered from having to be condensed down into 8 episodes.
I almost didn't finish Murder Drones because I really really did not like the pilot the first time I watched it, as much as I really adore that series now ;w; glad I powered thru
I feel like a lot more of the hate is directed towards helluva boss (and tbh, the hate for that show is way more deserved, it’s just a huge mess of the Chris Carter Effect variety, full of amazing concepts, ideas and designs.)
I enjoyed Hazbin Hotel though. I do feel like the show needs more than 8-12 episodes per season, so the pacing is awful, but hey, Executive Meddling is a bitch.
Oh word? I don't really follow people who actively hate on either show so the /most/ I saw was people not liking Beelzebub's design. (I thought it was cute..!)
Maybe I saw more of Hazbin's hate cuz that show was waayyy bigger than Helluva Boss. I think I like Helluva more out of the two, I like the episodic format and think that sort of thing would probably be more fun to watch in Hazbin too more than the big continuous plot.
Hazbin desperately needs filler episodes where they just bum around and have fun in that hotel, I absolutely adore filler though so I'm biased. Bring on the nothing plot-relevant happening!
So I had my doubts going into Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness on the Gamecube. I was always curious but these games got VERY mixed reviews back in the day, and prominent Youtubers such as Tamashii Hiroka (now Tama Hero) despise them. I gave them a try though, and yeahhh, they are FLAWED. But what I LOVED about these games-the somewhat more mature tone and look of the characters, the different "atmosphere," the American Southwest/West inspired imagery, the OSTs, the tougher, trickier mechanics-I REALLY loved. Even if they aren't "true" Pokemon games in the sense of the original Gameboy/Gameboy Color/Gameboy Advance games, I LIKE them!
I had no clue that movie had even come out until I passed by a billboard advertising it today.
judging by how much people are talking I just assume that you atleast heard about it coming out
I'm not on social media all the time so I don't always hear all the latest news, but usually i'm pretty up to date on film releases as I see them in the "trending" tab but I saw nothing on Garfield and I don't watch a lot of ads due to me using Adblock pretty much all the time so somehow it snuck up on me.
I haven’t gotten the chance to see the movie yet, but first impressions from the trailers and stuff: of course they cast Chris Pratt as Garfield, but otherwise the animation looks beautiful, and I’m sure it’s at least an okay movie.
Going to be honest with you, it's Back To The Future. I've seen a lot of cheesy 80s films and I kind of was expecting it to be just that, but there is an incredible charm to it that I didn't expect. Marty McFly is also an awesome protagonist and the connections he has with the people around him really draws me in.
"Guess you guys aren't ready for that yet... but your kids are gonna love it."

My mom was eager to show me that film to me as a kid, I had no idea what to expect and given that I wasn't a fan of some of the other films she liked("Sound of Music" blech!)my expectations weren't that high but i turned out to quite enjoy it and the sequels, surprised there wasn't been a remake of it yet.
The DCOM "Cow Belles", previews made this one look pretty bad to me as a kid so I never saw it back then, but I decided to check it out recently for the hell of it and while it's definitely one of the weaker DCOM's(and I can see why Aly and AJ are kind of embarrassed by it now)it's still definitely a hell of a lot better then I expected it to be(the fact that I saw the DVD version with the superior ending definitely helped).

I mentioned it in another thread, but the eco "creature feature" horror film Zaat is slowly becoming a guilty pleasure of mine. When I've seen it recycled on numerous worst movies of all time lists, including a documentary on the topic, I was expecting dumpster fire levels of bad. But it's kind of charming in a weird way. There's far worse ones out there and that ending is just unforgettable.

Porky's Pimpin' Pee Wee
Yes, really.
It's a cheapo "ashcan" movie meant to keep Howard Stern from remaking the first movie (yes, really) but considering it's just a cheap ashcan flick, it's not too bad. It's basically a low-budget goofball sex comedy with a lot of nudity and dumb lowbrow jokes that only teenage boys would find clever. But it doesn't claim to be anything else either. So it's decent enough for what it is.
At least it's a lot better than something like Hellraiser Revelations.

I didn't watch a lot of DCOMS growing up (as mentioned in another thread, the cable access was VERY spotty), but I watched them as an older individual and have found that I just like a lot of their cheesy, hokey charm. Something about them just feels warm and inviting to me.

Yeah same here, I also feel that way about the live-action shows on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.
I caught some as a kid("You Wish", "Pixel Perfect", "Stuck in the Suburbs", "Wendy Wu:Homecoming Warrior", "Brink", "Double Teamed", "Right on Track", "Now You See It", "Rip Girls", "Gotta Kick it Up", "Cheetah Girls", one of the Zenon movies, etc)but there were quite a few I missed and it's been fun catching up on them.
