I just watched the 1992 film Toys for the first time & it's DEFINITELY better than I expected. It's the kind of surreal, wild & udderly insane movie that I LOVE. I already knew of the video game adaptation & I thought the game was decent, better than how most other people ranked it, but OMG THE MOVIE IS JUST.... HOW DID I NOT GET TO IT SOONER!?
(For anyone wondering, I bought it on DVD from a flea market BECAUSE of the video game adaptation. Heck, the movie at one point uses tank footage that is also seen in Absolute Entertainment's Super Battletank: War In the Gulf. That probably explains why Absolute Entertainment got the rights to make a video game out of it).
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

Yeah that movie is pretty underrated and it's message actually aged pretty well. Fun fact Robin Williams was pissed about Disney focusing so much on his role as Genie in marketing for Aladdin as he felt like that played a part in Toys bombing at the box-office.
the full Hazbin Hotel series, but to be honest when I watched it I was really going into it with an open mind I was a bit sick of seeing all the rabid hate for it by the time I'd decided to watch it. I wish it got to be longer, I feel like it really suffered from having to be condensed down into 8 episodes.
I almost didn't finish Murder Drones because I really really did not like the pilot the first time I watched it, as much as I really adore that series now ;w; glad I powered thru
Sausage Party. A lot of people are really torn about the movie, so I came in expecting the worst. But then I remembered, I thought Conker's Bad Fur Day was funny
I would like to add Monsters At Work. I think on the surface (a straight to streaming sequel of Monsters Inc) seems like a bad idea. But I really enjoyed it. I think them focusing on new characters was a good choice. Honestly, my biggest criticism is Sulley, because it feels John Goodman is there by obligation.
There are some shows where I saw some episodes and didn't like them at first as I got a bad first impression but later on I grew to like them-Scooby-Doo and King of the Hill being two such examples.
Breaking Bad as well, surprising answer I know but I when hear something on TV massively overhyped I can't help but be prepared for a letdown(you can thank LOST for that)thankfully BB lived up to the hype and then some.
The book Shiver was just one of a LONGGGGGGG line of books released during the time of the Twilight craze to capitalize on the "supernatural romance" phenomena explosion. Is the book a literary masterpiece? God no. But it just put me in a super warm, happy, excited (etc) mood and I was super excited to see what happened next with every page. I devoured the book!
I actually liked both Nevermore and Maximum Ride Forever (part of the Maximum Ride book series) even if both books got really "out there" at multiple points. Still not the "original trilogy" but better than I expected.

I feel like a lot more of the hate is directed towards helluva boss (and tbh, the hate for that show is way more deserved, it’s just a huge mess of the Chris Carter Effect variety, full of amazing concepts, ideas and designs.)
I enjoyed Hazbin Hotel though. I do feel like the show needs more than 8-12 episodes per season, so the pacing is awful, but hey, Executive Meddling is a bitch.
