I think that term is overrused and Disney has done legit good LGBTQ stuff in films like Strange World and TV shows like the High School Musical series and Andi Mack but I do wish they'd do more.
DO NOT thank Disney for those; thank the WRITERS AND PRODUCERS, Disney doesn't deserve most of the credit, especially not The Owl House considering how much they screwed over Dana Terrace.
You don't get to dictate my own opinions so I'll thank whoever I want to, you're not the boss of me.
I'm well aware of Dana but the fact is they still aired those shows and showed those films when they could've easily backed out altogether, so sorry if you're expecting me to go all "OMG Disney is pure EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL!" look elsewhere cause i'm not that guy and I never will be.
I heard the episode was removed because the creator of the episode felt guilty that the friendly nature of the episode lead to children to be groomed by Micheal Jackson. That is why it has been missing.
MJ has been dead for years, so maybe there will be a day that they overturn that decision.
From what I found, it was current show-runner Al Jean and James L. Brooks who opted to have the episode removed. Either way, although I do understand the reasoning, I find it pointless to cherrypick problematic episodes when there are plenty of episodes of The Simpsons that have aged incredibly poorly. Especially when it wasn't even confirmed until 2018 that Michael Jackson even voiced the character.
I don't get their reasoning at all, I think it was a bullshit, cowardly, despicable and shameful move on their part and NGL I definitely lost some respect for both of them over that. I was also quite annoyed when shows like Scrubs, 30 Rock and Community removed episodes featuring Blackface gags despite NOBODY in the black community asking them to do that or even expressing offense at the episodes, it was just a pathetic sad attempt to make the studios look like they were doing something to help black folks in the wake of the protests but in reality they should've spent less time removing episodes and censoring their own history and more time actually hiring more black people on their staff but of course that would've been too difficult. The funny thing is both the left and the right criticized them for that so they didn't make anybody happy with their asinine decision(and in the case of that one Golden Girls episode it was later reversed due to backlash from fans of the show).
Disney's wokebaiting feels intentionally done by the higher ups so that when it REALLY becomes even a issue, they'll just stop letting the people making the movies/shows have representation in their media for the most part, or just at all, as a way to become even MORE sanitized & clean. Then they would scrub any traces of shows like The Owl House, The Ghost And Molly McGee & Amphibia, writing them as tax write-offs, just like how they (allegedly) put Nightmare Ned on a tax write-off boundary.
I think that term is overrused and Disney has done legit good LGBTQ stuff in films like Strange World and TV shows like the High School Musical series and Andi Mack but I do wish they'd do more.
I don't mean things like that. I mean when Disney makes a character in a reboot of something black/gay/whatever for brownie points and to purposefully make the "anti-woke" people mad. Oh, and also Disney having its "first gay character" multiple times really gets on my nerves.
Another dumb thing that annoys me, why do all of the characters in Big Bang Theory video chat on their laptops with each other?? I get the clips on tiktok and I've noticed this so many times now. It's not just the main nerds who do it, it's everyone. I get a phone call wouldn't convey the point as well, or realistically they'd all be texting each other, but really? Everyone just busts out their whole laptop just to chat with someone else? It looks so bad too. It looks like they were filming during the pandemic and needed to shoot seperate scenes. Even during the pandemic I didn't video call friends and family as much as these people did. Most of them live in the same damn apartment building, they couldn't just shoot the scene together?

I don't do video chat in general so nothing about it seemed off to me. This show actually ended in 2019 right before COVID happened so that couldn't be a factor.

Anything that makes those losers mad is A-OK in my book though I don't think Disney is purposefully doing it to annoy them, they don't even have to try as EVERYTHING those dumbasses LOL
Yeah that first gay character bit is ridiculous but I chalk that up more to news outlets breathlessly reporting on it then Disney themselves.

Oh I know it was pre-pandemic, which is why it feels even more out of place. It's constant.

Yeah, wokebaiting gets me frustrated too. Like, Disney, just do it and then actually let it air in the Russian, Saudi Arabian, and Chinese versions you cowards...don't do this half-hearted nonsense that just pisses everyone off for different reasons.

You don't wanna be the one that brings geopolitics into this, believe you me.

I thought they did and those countries just banned the episodes outright. I know some people mistakenly believed that gay kiss in Rise of Skywalker got cut out in some countries but that's actually false, it was never edited out for any country and some I believe actually banned the film(or gave it a higher age rating) as a result.

More(gravy is 26): 27. The Internet Archive being blocked on school wifi for no good reason I can think of(other than distraction on my end, but still, I do the work dangit) 28. Jars of cheeseballs being near impossible to find 29. FMV games that desperately try to do ambitious material, but fail HARD(see Slam City for the Sega CD as an example) 30. People who delete material for no actual reason or reasons that are crap(I'm one of those who did this before with some cringe Akazukin ChaCha fanfics; I could've at least preserved them on the Internet Archive with context surrounding them) 31. No individual uploads for music, particularly from a video game that has a SOUND TEST. Speaking of which... 32. Games these days not having any music selection/sound test on the main menu or options menu: It already started happening around the PS1 era(though there were games beforehand which were like that, or hid the sound test through some secret code) & for those who wanted to listen to the music without having to play the game, this was infuriating. Look, I know that the name "sound test" pretty much meant that it was only ever used to test to see if the music & sound work, but Comix Zone on the Sega Genesis called the music selection menu Jukebox & I think some of Rare's N64 games might've done the same, so I don't get the whole just moving away from it when you can have it be a cool jukebox thingy, especially when the game was made before YouTube & was so obscure that no one considered ripping the music from the disc or cartridge & heck, sometimes people STILL haven't uploaded the music. Becomes especially infuriating if that game's music is really good. 33. Physical media becoming "obsolete" 34. My singing. Trust me, you don't want to hear it. It could potentially blow up the universe. 35. People who think all of Europe is in the West or all of Europe is in the East: There's sorta 2 distinct parts of Europe; Western Europe(countries like France, UK, Italy, Malta, the 5 Nordic countries, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Vatican City, Monaco, etc.) & Eastern Europe(Czech Republic, Slovakia, Western Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Macedonia, Georgia of Caucasia, Armenia, etc.). The Middle East's Western portion is under EASTERN Europe meanwhile countries like Algeria & Morocco are under WESTERN Europe. Also Norway, Sweden & Finland part of WESTERN Europe contrary to their placement. 36. People who think that Australia is a continent: It's in Oceania alongside New Zealand, Fiji, Palau, Indonesia(crossing into Asia), Kiribati, maybe The Philippines somewhat?, Solomon Islands, American Samoa, Niue, Pitcairn Islands, Tonga, Micronesia, etc. Also they're generally Eastern in terms of culture & region, even if some of them lie in the Western hemisphere, so I wouldn't say that they're part of the West, though I wouldn't be all that annoyed if someone says that Australia is a Western country since it's all too common & isn't THAT big of a deal in comparison to the continent misinformation(and also since a lot of Aussies & New Zealanders would say so anyway). Confusing boundaries on what's considered a Western place or an Eastern place. 37. People who think Taiwan isn't a country; it IS one no matter how hard China cries. 38. The noises that a Sharpie marker makes. It rubs my ears the wrong way. 39. Whenever I forget something for like, no reason. 40. Pieces of media literally made to just be lazy kids content without having any actual merits or real effort: WowNow Entertainment is a good example of this. Sure, I watch stuff like Akazukin ChaCha, Foofur & Mighty Max, which is stuff that was targeted to kids, but they had actual effort put into them. Foofur is a decent show, if not all that memorable, but Akazukin ChaCha & Mighty Max are freakin' awesome shows that are a showcase of what a cartoon can truly be. 41. People who think bowling is a nothing kind of game: I'm not a big fan of bowling, but I find it to be somewhat decent & it DOES require a fair bit of strength & skill on your part, so it's not a nothing game. 42. Stupid Wii knockoffs like the Miwi & Wireless 60 43. When companies or creators make one of their series more dark & edgy in a lazy cliche way: Ty 3 did that & the result was a failure. Checkered Flag on the Atari Jaguar was so lazy on being a dark & edgy version of the Atari Lynx game of the same name that the manual doesn't even TRY to come up with any angsty story. It just is darker because of some courses & music. 44. Cereal characters looking like they came for my soul 45. Terrible .exe games 46. Scammers for obvious reasons 47. NFTs in general but especially ones of dead people. Those make me feel like I'm in a museum of haunted artifacts from war criminals.
1. Dead ends of interesting searches 2. Toxic fandoms and hatedoms, especially ones that treat their opinions like facts and use the "You're not a true (media) fan for liking/hating (insert)" card. 3. Internet issues 4. People wanting to talk to me while I'm busy 5. Fire alarms. Trust me, I hated fire drills during my school years due to those alarms, with loud sounds and flashing lights that make me feel uncomfortable! 6. Being forced to do something I don't want to do or I'm not interested in doing. 7. Debates over which viewpoint is right. This is why I don't like politics and politicalized religion. 8. 404 errors and redirects to error screens on the Wayback Machine 9. Memes (although not all of them are bad), especially cringy ones 10. Internet slang. Sure, they don't annoy me that much, but still. 11. Sub vs. Dub debates Alongside others I'll rather not talk about.

I get annoyed when people delete all of their art and other content that they had on the internet as well ,or worse, gets deleted by the people running said sites that said art was put on. I found plenty of talented artists who have made a lot of art that I like (including one person I found recently on Twitter) and for one reason or another, they all either delete their whole gallery with all of their art and stuff or the site owners delete it all for no good reason whatsoever.
