The "America bad, Japan good" comments. I love Japanese culture and media but come on man. Japan is not a flawless country and I think we Americans sometimes forget how better off we are in comparison to third world countries. In all fairness though, this country is a mess right now so I understand the venting.
Agreed. At least it isn't Russia, I feel bad for the innocent citizens that have to put up with Putin's bullcrap.
Yeah, even countries that have decent living standards don't always have our free speech protections. Freedom of speech is something that is especially special to me on multiple levels. We have big problems, but we can TALK freely about those big problems and criticize those who perpetuate them, which is more than you can do in other countries where they just sweep everything under the rug to save face, and you have to play along with it.
And as much as the American economy/job market seems to suck for people, it also happens to be a lot less sucky than other places. At least, unlike Canada, we aren't confined to a handful of cities where 75%+ of the population already is, or in the case of Europe, (maybe) 3 "major" cities where 75%+ of the population also is.

Not to mention that Canada & Russia are like, cold as heck, especially in Northern parts.

The Mexican national team sucks ass, which sucks because I'm Mexican and I used to like this shit team. Now they're a bunch of clowns, jokes, and frauds.
Can't wait for football season for even more depression... if you think your sports fandom sucks, remember that I'm a fan of the Mexican national team and the Raiders, so your life can be a hell of a lot worse, like it is for me.

Rant over.
Eh, I'll argue the American soccer teams are still infinitely worse.

I know. I got a mod to ban him. I just wanted to give some context why that post was made. He also bothers me, so it sort of fits in the discussion. (And if drt told me correctly, you can’t view the forums when you are banned.) I will stop talking about him now.

When people are arguing at the store and try to talk to you afterwards like you weren't a foot away
I hate it when people argue generally.
The most awkward to me is when you're at work on a 8-10 hour shift, and then people get into insanely controversial topics of discussion halfway through and you're not allowed to wear headphones to drown them out and you can't leave for "too long" because it's work and so you just sit there like that Monsters Inc. MikeSully fusion meme.

Especially considering how much Japan tries to cover it's own war crimes committed during WW2, even editing them out of textbooks.
