I own a copy of this DVD. I got it from my aunt a couple years ago from a stack of DVD's a friend gave her (the stack also contained a Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD). No clue where her friend got it from. And just in case anyone thinks I'm fooling around, I can send you a picture of the DVD. I am %100 honest. I'm watching the Sesame Street stuff they did back in 1991 that's included on the DVD.

Note: This previous post was made before LMW Forums user jarets35 uploaded a picture of the DVD he had. Though I still apologize for the harsh tone I gave in this post, I'm still going to leave this post up with a disclaimer that I have changed my attitudes about the situation and I no longer agree with it.
I'm sorry to be rude, but how can you get a rare DVD that was given only to employees at Pixar after the release of their 2001 short film For the Birds that premiered with the theatrical release of Monsters, Inc.? I'm sure that you're actually watching the stuff alleged to have been included on the Made in Point Richmond DVD with the Pixar Short Films Collection series of DVDs as they make all of their previous shorts available to view (with the exception of "Blowin' in the Wind").
I refuse to believe your claim that you actually have it because of a similar incident by a notorious troll who is now banned from the forums and your type of claim of "I found it on a stack of DVDs from my aunt" doesn't sound right to me. If you can actually prove your innocence (which I believe will not be the case), go ahead and upload that cover you have of the DVD; if you are not being honest, then you deserve to face criticism for lying to us and wasting our times.

Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.

There's no reason for there not to be pics in this post instead of waiting to "post them later". Ignoring this until you have more than a claim.
I'm watching the Sesame Street stuff they did back in 1991 that's included on the DVD Seasme Street is not owned by Pixar They have worked with them before but they dont own them.
. In 1990, the studio, through John Lasseter, produced a series of shorts for Sesame Street featuring Luxo Jr.
UPDATE: Never mind the Sesame Street shorts are on the DVD.

Well as much as I hate to say it, I'm going to have to start putting faith in random claims if I have any hopes of this being found.
Last time I mentioned I had contacted some seemingly very reliable people, and everything sorta fell through.
There was one person I contacted on Facebook but they never replied or even saw my message.
There was a second person who had eBay listings for rare employee only material, but did not have/never seemed to have heard about the DVD.
And the third....oh man the third.....
This guy was someone who worked at Pixar from 1996-2002, had a DVD, was very knowledgeable about it, and nice. He sent me pictures and lots of information about. But when it came time to ask the big question, he just stopped replying, despite me being really nice and lightly explaining why I had an interest in it and whatnot.
I'm still kicking myself for not chatting him up a little more because I probably shouldn't have jumped to the big question so quickly, regardless of how well I explained the situation. I was so accustomed to people just bluntly asking for a rip that I thought by explaining the reason we wanted the stuff on there would be good enough, but I guess it just wasn't.
So I think I want to revise my original theory, with the whole bit about former employees being of use, to former employees who we've established friendships with to the point of them wanting to share it with us. Of course this teeters along the lines of manipulation so I'm not so sure I've be down for that anyway.
And that means we're either gonna have to find an employee who just doesn't care at all (which I don't think will happen because of that stupid "never ever share the contents of this DVD" disclaimer) or just a random person not affiliated with Pixar who has a copy themselves.
We've just hit so many dead leads with the actual employees that I fail to see the way any one of them would possibly be willing to share it.
Of course we still have those 4 or so names from Twitter, so maybe they'd still be worth looking into, but this search is far more complicated than it seems on the surface.
Also as a side note, this DVD was actually for sale at some point at Pixar and wasn't just selectively given out to random employees, so there are definitely enough copies out there for us to get a hold of one, we just need to find the right person (or location....check thrift stores? Ever since the previously unknown Kappa Mikey Nicktoons pitch was found on that compilation DVD from a thrift store, I have much more faith those kinds of places).
I ain't a liar. I am not giving y'all a false lead.
Okay, so you do actually have the disc then. I now completely apologize for my original post in this thread because I was afraid that you would post an image of a fake DVD disc and the image you posted about it seems to match the disc in this image used on the LMW article about the DVD (except the disc in the image seems to have more of the color blue than in yours probably because of the bright lighting where you took it):
So the question I have now is when are you going to rip it to the internet?
Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.
Not sure when I'm gonna rip it, seeing as I don't have a computer in general. I could use my friend's computer, but he's kinda finicky with who does what with it. As soon as I can, I will let everyone know.

Would you say that this medium would be able to convert them alongside their original DVD quality?
It might be a good idea to provide a tutorial or instructions of sorts for him. Given he doesn't own a computer I doubt he has any experience with ripping contents from DVDs
Now would be a great time to improve the article on this dvd if someone is interested, it's kind of a huge mess at the moment.
