That's awesome! I wonder if the same could be true for Batgirl? I know there were still reshoots to do for that one but it did get screened to people as well so it's entirely possible that someone out there might have a screener of that movie as well. They might be waiting to drop it alongside Coyote vs Acme whenever that gets leaked or officially releases.

Sorry to rain on the party a bit, but the thing with Coyote VS Acme probably only happened because they screened to other studios in the hopes of finding a potential buyer, and said copies were accidentally left with said potential buyers, which resulted in the film spiraling outside WB’s hands outside the public eye. All the test screenings of Batgirl were within the bounds, the confines of Warner Bros Studios, so it’s not as likely. I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you. Sorry, I hate to say it, trust me, but I can’t let us get our hopes up for something that is very unlikely to happen man.

Doraemon (1973) comes to mind.
Many years ago the original creator of the first Doraemon series uploaded the intro of the series on his personal website. He took it down shortly after he got into some legal issues.
As far as I know, he has many episodes but is unable to release them for those reasons.

I remember reading somewhere that the original company behind that show had a contract in place that it was never allowed to have ANY kind of official home release. Or maybe I was thinking of a different anime from that same time period.
